There should've been a countdown timer for this boss before it can make it to Poshley Heights and terrorize the whole town, growing further. Would've made the music more fitting and the battle more tense.

You were supposed to battle the shadow sirens in Riverside Station and Beldam was responsible for creating the smorgs, but it was scrapped from the final game. You know the room with Goombas? It was there you battled the shadow sirens.
