Emily, if you watch their old (and I think all) videos, you'll see there's no malice there, no demeaning, not being purposely hurtful. They were two teenage boys having fun and being trolls (they still are). The dress skit is a tradition in entertaintment even before Shakespeare (and it's still funny), and Ian is right when he says they were making fun about how people reacts about it. These two were and still are comedian geniuses, and I love them! And I love all their skits, the old ones and the new ones ;D
