Once two tools have been inserted and turned 180 degrees, you can't help but be aligned perfectly.These are great with isolation kits. The Mylar sleeves slide right through without breaking..

Are these really worth it ? Asking for a friend I usually use chain falls or comes alongs to line up my flanges will this make life just easier in the Industrial life
@SMP_Tools Жыл бұрын
Yes! These pins will take out all of the high/low with a simple rotation. Fighting with chain falls, come alongs, and drift pins are things of the past. The feedback we get on these pins is extraordinary, and we'd accept a return if they didn't meet your expectations.

What do you call the connecting part (black) that you are using to connect the two flanges?
@HemanTexas5 жыл бұрын
Rob that is called a spool, and is basically just a place holder. The SMP Valve-Out tool can used to remove spools like this or valves, meters etc.

@@HemanTexas We tend to call them mannequins. Kinda strange but I've got used to it.

Looks so thin and fragile. Sure if the flanges are really loose and willing to move, no problems. But often some big flanges needs to really be forced.

Oh no those things are life savers, we bolted up a 30" flange this morning and used those, it was tight but we hammer wrenched them in and the flanges lined up perfectly

I use them fairly often. They are very strong. Very convenient. Not too many adjustments need to be made on the flanges to line up evenly.
