@@SmplBuilds Ain't nothing wrong with a budget build, we were all college students once with a part-time job with little money to work with. Top tip when painting wheels with tyres mounted: Get a couple packs of playing cards, and slot them vertically in the lip around the whole circumference of the wheel. Saves the long tape job and you can just use them again. You get a real nice clean line and good access to paint the lip still. Your life will change when you try this.

Looks very clean! Only things I would done differently: - clear coat the whole car. The paint will start to chip off and it'll suck. Also makes it shine a lot more - 2$ ebay rear wiper plug - type R or stock rear spoiler (personal opinion) But still, for that amount of money, very nice!

@chrisault20042 жыл бұрын
That spray paint isn't designed to be clear-coated over. If you were to do so it would it would likely delaminate. If he were to have have used the 2 stage (paint a clear) method (which, yes, is definitely better) it would have added a lot more time and cost to the build. In addition to that, the preferred method is harder if not almost impossible to do outside as he tends to work.
