SMRT - First Trains In and Out of EWL Tuas West Extension

Early in the morning of 18 June 2017, the first trains ply the new Tuas West Extension along the East West Line.
First eastbound train - 079/080
First westbound train - 543/544

When Sporeans stand they like to space out their legs to balance themselves. If you take the train during off-peak you might get an available seat with not so much people

But really during rush hour, there is not enough seats for all.

Of course there won't be enough seats for all, I took it once and had to travel 5 stations, standing all the way, and the trains are made in Japan.

Wow! Awesome brand new train station! The train itself is modern spacious and clean. Where? Sydney does not even have stations like this! Its embarrassing, its like a third worldl country now!. If you come to Sydney, take a train trip and have a look at the trains here, scratches/ marks on windows, graffitis on inside/outside, put their feet on the seats, smelly and rubbish on the floors! Its a bloody disgrace. People here dont respect public property, they just trash it!

Transport vlogs Actually our trains here in Singapore are not modern, the first generation (this type, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Corporation 151 [call it C151 for short]) has been running since 1987. It just feels modern because the SMRT staff ensure the cleanliness and good aircon servicing before the first train starts service at 4.30am
