True, now KHIs are basically the SIE 2.0 especially on EWL, getting worse after the September one week war. Good thing they brought forward the retirement to next year instead, let the newer trains (especially R151) takeover and improve the EWL reliability

With Alstom having a pretty bad track record, at least here in the West, I wouldn't be shocked if they had to delay the retirement

In my opinion, I don't think all the remaining 48 KHIs (excluding the derailed 065/066) can be fully retired by Q3 2025 as there are only 3 Toyotron trucks in Tuas. Each KHIs EMU will either be scrapped on Wednesday or Saturday evening. If the scrapping event happens on every Wednesday and Saturday evening, KHIs will be fully phased out by the earliest will be 2026
