Mira Ghalib was good poet ,but he could not write his Deevan.. It should be written from alphabat in Urdu ...alif.. to aaeay.. Shair ending in these alphabats..it starts praising Allah. ..then prophet.. There is Deevanay Zaug available not Deevanay Ghalib.

I remember when i was in class 7 probably 12 years old i guess...i watched this movie with one of my czn and she explained me the whole movie coz i wasn't able to understand any word .. yesterday she again send me this clip and I'm nostalgic really want to watch this movie once again.. Don't know the truth. But I think it wasn't spontaneous but Ghalib made it so

It was shown as such in the play, but probably wasn’t. However, Ghalib did have quite a reputation for spontaneity, banter and humor all rolled into one. Gulzar probably took artistic license with that reputation for this scene.

In romanized urdu it will be Mukarrar مکرر not Muqarrar مقرر. Mukarrar is from Takraar ie repetition. Muqarrar is from Taqreer ie speech. .. Small clarification. .. Love your interest in Urdu.
