Daisoujou's a rather unique case, since he has so many advantages. I used him for a good third-to-half of the game, myself. Got to the point my roommate took to calling him "the General" and asked where he was when I finally fused him away.

Essentially. Demons require a lot of XP to level up, so without fusion, your demons will be obsoleted pretty quickly. Daisoujou is a very good healer and supporter, so he doesn't really need to have a very high level since he won't usually be doing damage anyway, and proper buffs can make sure he isn't too frail. Combine that with learning the best healing skill and the ability to steal MP very easily...

God, if only I could laugh like Metatron when he does his Fire of Sinai...I would definately get an extra shot of espresso at the Starbucks....

...He den starts glowing in a yellow-orange sort of collor as if he is charging up an attack and then fires the beam from his eyes. The entire screen is then covered in a white glow as the view changes to an shot showing most of the vortex world where at a point a redish-orange glow has appeared. The glow grows larger and larger and soon the entire vortex world is engulfed in orange-red flames, and then the attack is over and numbers appear over the characters heads.

That may be because he IS a robot (hard to know, but looks very likely in SMTverse), created to replace Lucifer after his fall from grace; Metatron was also created without free will so that he would not rebel against his creator (like his predecessor did).

Imagine what "fire of sinai" would look like in a final fantasy game, here is how i picture it: the scene shifts to a mountain amidst a vast desert, the view zooms to a bush burning on the mountain, the fire gets larger and larger while the "camera" slowly pans outward and we can se the entire mountain is engulfed in flame. The camera zoomes "out" from Metatron as if the fire is inside him...

Is it right to think it's a little odd Metatron went all the way down to Amala,which is approximately the same as hell, therefore breaking divine laws prohibiting access within Lucifer's realm, and still having the right to use the Fire of Sinai as a last resort while fighting a weak-looking, yet obviously undefeatable fiend?... I'm glad I beat him more than once.

I messed up on this boss..once. I had trumpeter with me, and i would use his Holy Melody to keep the MP on my buff-oriented demon up(It was Wu Kong, which natrually gets all the buffs plus Physical attacks). But i tried my luck too many times, so Melody hit Metatron(DOsnt hela him, but it misses, thus wasing your turnss) so his Megidoloan and Fire of SInai wrecked me >:( Got him on my second try though, cnat wait to fuse this fucker along with Beelzebub.

For a being that's supposed to show us God's Wrath, he ain't doing much damage.... Hey, he scored a critical! *gently claps* Fire of Sinai? HOLY CRAP!!! Yeah, he's getting pissed now....and that evil laugh is DEFINITELY not very angelic.... He's getting less accurate. We've got him on the ropes!! Quite a beautiful looking death scene....Titania and Daisoujou level up!
