I intentionally chose this one so that you can get more familiar with the show. I'll leave links for both with and without captions from now on. SMTM is a survival show. Each round contestants compete with each other and some get eliminated. This one you saw was semi-finals. The guy performing is Khundi Panda, he's a contestant. Justhis and Groovy Room (4.29) are his producers/mentors on this show. The guy on 2.02 is the one Khundi Panda goes against in this round. Those money on the screen are technically votes they get real time. People in the audience vote for the rapper/performance they liked. On the early stages producers are judges, starting from quarter-finals judges are the audience. This is already 9th season. Yo this performance was great. The money is representing votes from the audience who in this case are contestants who have already been eliminated, usually there's a crowd but due to restrictions they couldn't film with an actual audience. Also the Mnet channel uploads two versions of each performance, one where they show the performance like they broadcasted it on tv (like this one) and one full version, the full versions have actual English captions which usually takes a few days before they're made. This performance was from last week's quarter finals so the show is still ongoing. Justhis is one of the judges/producers of the show, in total there are 4 teams of producers. Justhis is in a team with producer duo Groovyroom (who made this beat, as well as the VVS beat), they're shown at 6:40 (blonde dude with black cap and the one with the long coat). The first performer is indeed a contestant in the show (his name is Khundi Panda), the contestants got to choose which producer team they wanted to join after the 2nd round of the show and Khundi Panda chose for team Justhis + Groovyroom. Now during the quarter final Justhis is performing with Khundi Panda to try and get him him to the semi finals (in which they succeeded).
