SMTV Vengeance Satan Superboss - Hard (No DLC / No NG+)

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance Satan Superboss defeated on Hard with no DLC and in base New Game / Cycle 1
He really tried to screw me over by plundering both Kumbahada and Fafnir instead of Kaiwan.
You can probably replace Idun with any Luster Candier, Dominion with any Debilitater, and Baal with any Deity, I just used them since I liked them.
Norn and Dis stats don't matter as long as they have Endure to survive the Megidolaon and switch out for free using their Innate Skills.

how did you unlock this fight in ng? mastema only gave me samael quest

As long as you have a completed save file (with the ‘Clear’ icon on the top left) just go back to your uncompleted save file after beating samael and talk to mastema. Oh yeah and also make sure you save on a separate save slot haha

Save before beating > beat game > save your clear file to a different slot > load the file you saved before beating, and mastema shall grant thee the quest. I only say this in case more was left up to question with the previous response

You just need a clear save on any file. So once you beat Lucifer you can reload to an earlier save and he'll be there after you beat Samael

@@zekromfusion6319 You get for all super bosses on that current file, but once you beat the final boss and save you cannot reload that save file and you are forced into Ng+, which mean you have to recruit him again, Same as raidou or Dante in Nocturne. Biggest reason to use Demi fiend is his Chaotic will, is just too good. I also read he cannot be boosted with incense and stuff so for God born I don't think he is that good, which is a shame...assuming that this is true.

He's a guest but yeah he stays for every fight beside Demi Fiend rematches until you start NG+

Satan is meant to be a ng+ boss so they expect you to have very optimized demons, the only way to do this in ng is with some amount of cheese. The responsible thing is for you as a viewer to be able to gauge how much is necessary. Maybe you believe less could have been done for the same result, maybe taking longer, but cheese would be necessary. Or grinding out incense so your demons can survive and put in good damage

No dlc....yet you have demi fiend and idun here, which were dlc in the og switch version before the completed vengeance version came out

Lmao okay and...? Demi Fiend is no longer DLC in Vengeance and is being used against the Vengeance exclusive Superboss Also Idun wasn't DLC in the original either dumbass
