I agree with decision to go for the win, but that play call was ass. A low percentage jump ball, or a qb run but the qb hesitated too long. There was no Philly Special in the play book?

I was kind of surprised SMU was the favorite. I went with BYU even though both teams all season have been Jekyll and Hyde. I just felt like this was one of those games the favorite would lose.

SMU would have had a better chance to win if they played for overtime. I usually don't like teams going for two in regulation unless it is necessary.

They weren't in the same conference long enough to develop a rivalry. It was more like SMU trying for revenge for the 1980 Holiday Bowl. Which BYU also won by one point.

he is a 3rd string guy. our backup transferred to ASU. He can run well, but isn't much of a passer. Will have to fight for his spot again next year, and it'll be interesting to see if who we get in the transfer portal
