@@Adanu191 Its not an attainable utopia but a goal. One has to constantly be working at it and pointing out the failures and correct them. Over time it improves. We are now much better at it than in 1950's, but recently it has appeared everywhere because a select few of the rich, some of which own large media platforms have been pushing marxist ideology. Egalitarianism will never exist in a society that doesn't believe in truth. The people that push the idea of "personal truth" are of the philosophy that something can be true for one person but not for another. That's "perception" not truth. Egalitarianism will fail in this instance because no one can reach a common agreement. If you realize that its perception then you come to the conclusion that maybe your perception is incorrect and reach agreement about who was denied or permitted equal opportunity. People that make their decisions based on emotion rather than reason are very susceptible to marxist ideas. Personal truth is anything but. It's just an excuse to justify your emotion and ignore objective facts.
