FYI: The follow crosshair setting is for new players to understand the concept of recoil control because it visualizes the movement of every shot. So if they spray, they can see, that the shots went up above the enemy model, and if they make a recoil control back to the enemy model, they will hit. So it will be easier to learn instead of going to aim control maps where the shooting pattern is visualised in a graphic. For non beginners it´s kinda useless, because we know the most spray patterns and do spray control by muscle memory. But new players don´t know the concept at all.

i think the reason for the follow recoil is going to be for newer players who want to learn sprays but dont have the time to sit in a dm or a solo server and spray walls like we did, all they have to do is spray, keep the crosshair onto the target and once they get good and have used it for a decent amount of time it will just be muscle memory

I think Follow Recoil is good, but you just need to learn it and get gud with it. It can be really good if you learn how to use it and shoot properly. Atleast that's my opinion, i didn't try cs2 yet cuz no access

I actually remembered a youtuber showing how to spray properly in cs2 or smth like that, i don't remember who it was but, try shooting 10 bullets(from ak, just a example) and just pulling ur mouse down, from what i saw it works pretty well, idk how well it works with recoil control.
