Great show! I remember catching one of their later shows broadcast on Mezzo, around ten years ago, and especially the encore of "Beat It" - it had that place already here, but by the time of the later show MJ had passed away and the cover became longer, groovier, more aggressive - before finally seguing into Miller's trademark encore of "School Days". That was such a deligt to watch, and this is a fabulous concert as well!

I'm a fan of all these guys. Victor gave my my entire basis for bass (HAH) and Marcus is an all around beats inspiration. But Stanley...Stanley is always interesting to watch. Like his technique is entirely his own. He always holds his bass nearly parallel to the ground, and his index and middle finger do like all of the strumming/pizzicato work. It's probably his transition from upright to electric kicking in, but I don't feel like anybody else plays the way he plays.

Most bassist that will never be Know only play he first 6 frets on the first two strings. A 4 string bass with 21 frets already has 88 notes if you add in the chords that they play that gives exponentially more range then add in their techniques I.e. slap, pop, hammer one and pull offs, ghost notes, fills, walk downs, walk ups, octaves, fifths, and in and on. The bass is a much more dynamic instrument than people give it credit for.

The most amazing bassist, in my opinion, not favorite but most incredible bass it to walk earth-victor. KZbinrs may be teaching Vic’s techniques like it’s nothing nowadays but there was a good 10 years around the late eighties into 90s where Vic was a myth.
