If you look closely, he's just doing a simple air attack between the judgement cuts and continues from there with more judgement cuts

Its a mechanic carried over from dmc 4 where you could do infinite judgement cuts using trick cancels, So technically its a downgrade spam wise but capcom buffed the damage, range and aoe an insane amount to compensate

@@IamDokkoko I used to struggle a lot with JC. You know, when you hold the attack button with the yamato long enough, it has lightning outside the scabbard, right? That was a normal JC. To perform a perfect JC, u gotta have a good timing by looking at Vergil's movement. When his left hand is at 180 degree (in front of you), release the attack button and you may get PJC with 300 damage (normal JC = 100). The thing is getting complicated here. For the next PJC, you must pay attention when the yamato started to be drawn out. There is a light appeared at that moment. You have to release the attack button right after that. Now you have the second PJC. The same story happens with the third PJC. That was the guide for PJC on land. In the air, it is almost the same but easier. I felt like the sword draw out animation in the air is a bit slower, and it is safer to perform JC. For 4 JC in a row, the first one can be a normal JC. The others must be PJC. White Materia, Holy or not, the Earth would have no sun, no planets, it would be boiling hot, even if they killed Sephiroth at that point then the game would just "end" in darkness as nothing would exist. The planet would go cold, everything would die. But it didn't, so Super Nova is probably a non-canon power.

@@BrianVaughnVA what are talking both Japanese guide and American guide confirmed that supernova is Canon hell in the recent remake you see sephiroth casually do meteor and bringing cloud to the center of all creation. The way supernova work is that Sephiroth teleports the party to an alternate realm/dimension/universe and then unleash supernova. The attack dosent happen in the main universe just in a alternate one.
