you know the devs have the hardest hardons for Vergil. I second this! For stuff like Darksiders and Soulstice (my two personal favourites in the genre). And mayhaps Heavenly Sword, Dante's Inferno, Marlow Briggs & The Mask of Death, Knight's contract, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile... For upcoming ones, stuff like Genokids, Enenra Daemon Core, Gori: Cuddly Carnage and possibly Immortal: And the Death that Follows are looking interesting too. Would *want* to mention Clash: Artifacts of Chaos and Cookie Cutter because they're both cool games with a combat emphasis and fantastic style, but not really the same genre. Warmly recommend to check them out nonetheless.
