Devil May Cry 5 - Bloody Palace: Nero 101 Floors - SSS Rank Gameplay (PS4 PRO)

Blind playthrough of Devil May Cry 5 free DLC Bloody Palace 101 floors. Bloody Palace is a survival horde mode with bosses every 20 floors. Really fun to play but exhausting as you get closer to the end. I honestly want to record this again now that I know enemy and boss encounters, but I guess I should move on to Dante. Props to anyone who completes this, it's a real grind :)

Hey SMVR I don't think this question was asked but do you know if there is an option to disable the timer? I would like to have the option of just taking my time while fighting through the levels. I believe DMC3 did that. Does anyone know?

DMC3 actually didn't have disabled time feature because a timer for Bloody Palace was never implemented in it until DMC4. DmC had a disable time feature for it though, but I'm not sure if they had implemented disabling time in DMC5 Bloody Palace (especially since I don't have the game yet)

You mean devil bringer and devil breaker. Devil Bringer was his original demonic arm. Initially was nerfed. Once he re-awake devil bringer and gains acces to the complete devil trigger.....he can use again buster, devil buster, snatch(original), devil snatch, grab(a power obtained from Credo...can use enemies as human shields), charge shot, maximum bet, showdown and his own triple jump plus raid skill(compared to Dante....he dont need stay transformed for triple jump plus the raid)

the bloody palace really helps you understand the differences between Dante, Vergil, and Nero in terms of sword style and fighting techniques. Dante is finesse, skill, showing off, and a little brute force. Vergil is pure skill, finesse, and all his power is used in skillful, precise, and ruthless execution of his enemies. Nero is pure power and brute force. Unrefined, unskilled, but it sure as hell gets the job done. He brings the pain and doesn't care how cool he looks while getting said job done!

Imagine Nero and V teaming up against a boss and they both fire their huge laser beams at the same time, finishing it off. For me Dante is the easiest char for bloody palace. Gauntlets brute power is unmatched. Single well landed dragon punch can kill almost anything and does incredible damage to bosses. Trickster and royal guard practically makes you immortal and I love Dante being so op...

Amazing play as it's blind walkthrough. It took me 10 stages to realize that only taking buster arm and ragtime helps my clearspeed a lot. DBringer's buster dmg is much lower than Buster Arm. Looking forward to your optimized play strategy, and Dante playthrough as well.

@@Sutchii_ buster attacks from the devil bringer AND the arm can be used to counter or interrupt the attacks of a lot of enemies, so i think the idea of making the BringerBuster weaker than the BreakerBuster is that you have it all the time so that you can always counter things reliably for lower damage if you don't want to stock Buster Arm all the time.

When going through the triple Urizen fight, a good cheese/glitch tactic could be adopted with the Buster devil breaker. On level 99 fighting Uirzen in the throne room, If you manage to get his health low enough where one breakage move from the Buster devil arm can finish him off, you get to save that Buster arm even after using breakage on him. This is probably due to the game only breaking this arm after its animation finishes, but level 99 ends immediately after you kill him, so there was no time for the arm to enter the breaking stage Can only do this on 99 though, since level 100 does have a few seconds of break time after you kill the boss So if you want to Buster both Urizen and Vergil you will have to get two bustert arms, this glitch can only save one extra use.

Familiarize yourself with every attack animation. Do moves over and over again until you become consistent

If youre coming from dmc4 it will be easier to get most of the max-act procs down, but basically you're timing the button press when nero swings but right before it connects with the enemy (or in a few cases as the blade hits a surface.. like the floor). Keep in mind that you'll need to react a bit faster with revved attacks as the timings are slightly different.

how are you this GOOD with nero?! i been playing with him for WEEKS! did human mode for achievement and finished all modes devil hunter, SoS and even DMD with him. and been doing bloody palace with him for maybe over 30 hours. but i died like 15 times, only NOW 5 minutes ago i managed to beat bloody palace for the first time! but i used his super character... (lost once) and you did it... with normal nero... i died 13 times as normal nero. (his my favorite and still) 2:12:46 WHAT?! i never knew that! didn't think it even possible! o.o

What is the "super character" you're talking about plz ? Is there a secret Nero ability that I don't know ?

@@OcarinaOfTime super character is when you beat the game, you unlock ultimate Nero:you get unlimited devil trigger and his ex gauge never depletes.

Is it me or is Nero's the most disadvantage of all characters (without those rest stages to stock up/customize his devil breakers and then going into 4 straight boss fights....)

yeah, that would be cool, like he would even need to buy new arms for each boss fight, he's broken, the mechanic of the devil bringer alone make him the easiest character in the franchise, the devil arms only nerfed him compared to dmc4 nero

Are you able to get to a certain floor, quit, and then continue from that floor at a later time? This looks fun and challenging but I don't think I could handle 101 floors in one sitting. That's madness.

you can suspend the the stage you on for the game, but once you start a new mission, save data lost, you have to start over

He probably remapped it to a trigger like L2 or R2. You can easily hold it down while doing other things with that button layout.

Do you have to keep spamming L2 to keep the sword on fire? As a casual fan I found that kinda annoying but me not beeing good at timing it was probably the reason I felt like Nero did too little damage

exceed is Nero's core mechanic: not only you deal less damage but also your attacks are slower. Yeah you need to time your exceed after every sword swing. Its just about muscle memory, comes with a practice.

How do you charge shots and do sick ads combos at the same time? Did you button map it or are you "clawing" your controller?
