No, this is not situated at the airport. The reason why I have highlighted that point is because there’s no such railway station as of now in India. If you know any, let me know. Also, it resembles the look and architecture of Kempegowda International Airport, hence Airport like facilities cause you don’t get escalators, modern architecture and the first time feel. You can check the video of Airport and you will get to know the reason. I hope that explains quite well.

Yes, it’s operational. I visited when it was barely inaugurated. Metro near SMVT is Baiyappanahalli

The terminal is built so well but the platforms seem a bit basic compared to the terminal. Looks like they don't have lifts/ escalators in the platforms. Its not easy for people who find it hard to walk/ climb much to get to-and-from trains. I hope they do so in the future. This will make the platform a lot more accessible. But overall, great design. Super proud to be from Bengaluru. Best city in the world.

Hey, Budd! You can take bus to majestic and then from there you will get bus to SMVT or Baiyappanahalli. Or you can take metro from Majestic as Kempegowda is in a different city than Bangalore. Reaching Majestic will take time. I hope this helps

There is no frequent BMTC bus facilities nor metro link (nearest or attached) metro station for the convenience of middle class and poor people who come with luggage. Government always provide facilities to rich people by providing a/c busses a/c trains, a/c railway station etc. What about common people. How can he afford the cost of living? From Yesvantpur, it's 15 KMs. Yes, as per the train schedules, Duronto is terminating at Yesvantpur. Just confirm once with IRCTC by calling them.
