A little tip for those wo struggle keeping the guy in the red box: Switch the fast redeploy and the defender during his attack animation, he will be 'stunned' for a little bit and stand still

Adding to the list of possible extra solutions; your medic can also be a wandering medic. That will make your defender heal corrosion fast enough to avoid a stun. Doesn't save you from RNG hell on the 7 guys coming down that side at the end though.

TO all who have problems, ALL ENEMIES OTHER THAN THE BOSS CAN BE SILENCED!!!! Lappland and Jaye can ensure the 2 side lanes spawn nothing. You still need to manage the Big guys that spawn things when at 1/2 hp, but this simplifies things as Lappers can cover both lanes. You only need to worry about the location of where the special Orb enemies die and killing the boss! P1 has no defenses. Then the Orb enemy spawns. If the Left one dies last, it gives him Res. If the Right one dies last, it gives him Defense. P2 is then going to respawn where you killed P1 and slowly move forward. You can nuke this phase depending on what buff you gave it. My Goldenglow easily tore its HP to shreds.

I found that setting Little Handy to let the Hand of the Saint bounce helped with clearing out the dodging enemies at the end. Just aim them to bounce against the sides of the tile they're walking on and they'll get hit several times and die outright.

Let me just say what saved my life for this stage after going at it for HOURS, you can set Little Handy to the 2nd unlock bouncing barrel (it bounces off wall to do dmg) and if you place the barrel on the boss and make it ricochet to the left, it'll stay on the square and do 1/3 of the bosses HP. 3 Barrels and you can kill the boss, while saving your operators to kill the enemies on the right/left.

You can upgrade the little handy and use the thing that makes the roomba bounce and instead of using it to the left like kyo, use it downwards once the beak things almost reach your defender, the roomba will probably kill them.

I placed Myrtle and Texas at before the start of the double beak at the start of the double beak to stun and delay the first wave then equip the stun, bounce of little handy twice while on the top row when the second set of double beak shows up

another tip for dokutas out there if you have the 2nd part of the romba use the blue one so it can bounce, on the very last tile (where beagle was supposed to be) use the romba instead and make it face left/right. Also just face the caster and ranged guard downwards to help the medic defender kill the enemies a bit faster

You know that a stage have ridiculous start when kyo need to bring myrtle AND 2 other vanguard. My tips, if you have either healer-berry raised, instead of getting frustated whenever the evoker(?) monster slipping past the red box, you can just let the tile right in front of the red box get infected. Then put someone on top of it and let the berry heal the elemental damage. Stopping the infection. Fun fact, when the beak(?) dodger spawn in the red box, they are not yet stepping into the infected tile so they wont go past anyone put on the infected tile. However, only do this if you have enough damage to clear the 7 beak + the bosses before the infected tile spread too far, because those beak dodger will bypass anyone on infected tile.

@@lotusluminance5872 Depend, if you have the 4th component unlocked and choose the "branded tile does no elemental damage" then nightingale can keep anyone stopping the infection alive because there is no other enemy that can drop the infectious tile, and no other source of elemental damage. (Wait, the moustache monster hit pretty hard but i am sure they did physical attack so you dont need to raise NG just for this one stage) My case is that, i followed kyo but a liiiittle bit late to deploy gravel and the moustache monster get blocked out of redbox so instead of resetting i just did what i did. You see, there will be multiple of beak monster in the right line, 7 alongside the bosses, so if there are any infectious tile it will be really hard to tank them. Honestly, its more efficient to just retry and follow the guide unless you have sufficient dps to just brute force it. One more thing, the dodge guy are none issue if you can silence or freeze them. Also, if you follow the guide, and let the boss eat the +def buff, surtr S3 cam kill it easily.

I have no Arts DPS, I use Thorns and Exusiai with Skyfire and Amiya as stand-ins until I get spooked by Eyja, Surtr, or Goldenglow. Lappland does help with silencing, I put her facing the blue box so that her attacks can go to the other side without risking the floor. I realize I have max pot Mulberry somehow too, she's always spooking me. I think every other five star I pull is Mulberry.

@@lotusluminance5872 Oh right, that isnt a universal advice, my bad.. Anyway, if you havent cleared the stage yet, maybe you can raise click to some level. She is surprisingly powerful for a 4* caster, click is a good investment. Luckily, this stage isnt one of the better farming node so this is just an once and forget stage, you can borrow eyja or GG, or better yet, bought your own surtr. After the banner with schwarz end, surtr banner will come, with surtr as the shop operator. Mulberry is a good elemental medic, with better heal than honeyberry, actually, and can also deploy elemental reduction field that (cannot heal) can help protect mudrock and co from elemental damage. Beware tho, some people prefer honeyb for elemental healing purpose.

My medic defender (Spot) straight up killed the enemy he was supposed to stall, so he was never stunned, causing him to be quickly stunned when the next enemies come and thus leaking. It also caused the boss to spawn before all the redeployment timers had reset, so I had to rush deploying the other operators as they became available and then I ran out of DP to place someone to take the boss's damage. I hate it when the stages require so much timing to beat.

For those who want a faster way to kill the Brandguider with this strat, using Goldenglow S3 or Surtr S2 works very well. Just keep in mind to activate the skill ASAP when the Brandguider comes at you. You can also replace Gravel with 2-block vanguards while GG and Surtr will take care any small creep that gets blocked along with the Brandguider.

You really need Midnight, specifically, for this strat, as every other ranged arts guard (Lappland, Arene, Surtr) all attack multiple units with their ranged skills. Only Midnight can off them one at a time. Talk about turning a weakness into a niche

Nice guide! Some things I noticed that could help with this level - Lappland and Jay as was told. But also Ceobe S3 for silence - it actually can silence all three right enemies through her s3 since it's ridiculously long, but be careful with shitty targeting on it. Also, if you have good physical damage it's better for boss to eat left relic (it gives MR, not def). It's relatively easy to do with proper timing, I myself used ash to stun mob very close to boss. Also do remember - true damage don't give a shit about evasions, so Kalt'sit and other true-damagers could help you. Ocourse it's all 6 stars, but you can grab one from friend or replace some with alternatives -)

You may want to update they fricking added another wave of dogs on right side. Change to closer to 29/30 ish. A defender like Cuora is vital with her +1 block. Still seems like they buffed everything. Bring a centurion guard on the bottom right is almost a nessessity. Defender will be stunned allowing leaks or not able to dps fast enough to clear before leaks.

There is one Thing i dont understand. At the End, where those Enemys come at the Right Lane, it looks like Kyo´s Spot and Orchid make short Work of those weird Dodgy Enemys, but it took me 70 Minutes and quite a good Amount of Trys plus a slight Change at the End, because even with Gummy and Angelina i couldnt defeat them fast enough.. in one try i threw 4 of those Devices on them in the first Wave, and all 4 were still alive, and always one Enemy was leaking through.. In the End i had to change it by placing Texas before Gummy, and in the End, the Boss was dead before the Enemys on the Right Lane, and if i hadnt replaced Exusiai with Blue Poison facing to the Right, one almost dead Enemy might have leaked since Gummy was stunned... i really wonder why those Enemys seemingly fall with ease in the Video, but i struggled so much 🤔

Use Jaye!! for those struggling w/ dodge RNG/blue tile you can use Jaye S1 to silence BOTH dodge and blue tile spawn! Also you can use hand of saint (the 5 dp item thing) w/ bounce effect, you can use on 2nd phase boss one tile above blue box 4 times back to back (before stun disappears) to solo kill boss w/ the item. Struggling at 9:05 in the video. Neither my Orchid nor my E2 Glacius seem to be able to kill all the Nether Sea Predators. Edit: E2 Podenco works a bit better. I no longer leak due to having too many Nether Sea Predators but I still can't kill them fast enough since they manage to stun my healing defender and then leak. Not to mention I am missing dps and slows on the boss since Podenco is still to busy fighting the Nether Sea Predators

Problem is if those Devices dont make enough Damage. I had one try where i threw 4 of them at the first 4 of those Predators, and all 4 still were alive after that. Even in the last Try where i finally managed it after placing Texas before Gummy, i had used up all 5 Devices on the Predators, but still had 3 left, and one who was almost dead was barely defeated after they stunned Gummy.. i only defeated him since i replaced Exusiai facing upwards with Blue Poison facing to the Right.

If you have Lappland for guard, you can still use it with the second skill to kill the two guys in the left, if you have Cuora with S2, and other character that can do damage, for example Texas. I prefer that because then Lappland can solo it the dodgy monsters and use the device to kill the boss

Fun fact: Without enough damage, the second slime boy will stun your defender so watch out for that. Edit: How did Kyo manage to not get affected by the toxin? 🤔 Edit 2: If you misstime by a split second the slime boys will be considered on the tile before the red box f me.

So this strategy is mentioned somewhere in the comments, but the way to keep them in the box is to do the switch from Gravel to Beagle at the moment the staff is the lowest in the attack animation. It's a bit tricky to time right but doable. Definitlye something that should've been mentioned though

I'm using Honeyberry instead of Hibiscus, Podenco instead of Orchid, Nearl instead of Spot, Courier instead of Vanilla, I cannot kill those guys on the right fast enough even using Podenco's silence. And it so difficult to keep an eye on the boss and the guys on the right at the same time

i just can't do it, even if i save all 5 discs they are not enough to kill em, my spot and orchid are maxed out but they just can't stop the last wave, my spot always goes down dizzy, i use all the discs and even with the bounce they are not enough there is always 3 to 4 monsters left that pass over the dizzy spot and make me fail the stage

This block-at-gate strategy is really hard for me due to so many micromanagement so I worked out another one, just let the enemies on the right come in. The floors will be polluted but not a big problem. The boss will eat the left tomb which gives him massive RES, I used Melantha Ambriel and Executor to kill his 2nd phase. In this case a normal defender can block him for a while Ambriel is the core op here, so good on such kind of boss stage, eliminating much need of redeployment. Deployed her on the right, and she alone killed the left tomb planter and 1st phase boss

Finally got all the way to the boss fight, but the roomba doesn't work like it does in the vid. It doesn't take of half of thei rhealth per hit, meaning that the last group of beaked things on the right just walk right through my defender.

You need the Handy upgrade that makes the roombas bounce off walls. Then it can bounce back and forth on a 1-tile. The enemies also stun your defender unless you get stunned in the previous wave

@@acopytopy I just ripped out the defender and replaced her with another one, but I don't understand the handy-thing's bounce. It's a straight line? It doesn't bounce off anything. Even if i fire it straight at a wall, it doesn't bounce. I don't get what that mode is for.

@@iamnuff1992 "Hand of the Saint - Patrol" makes it bounce off walls. That's the second module, you get it from one of the locked chests in Gran Faro

the bottom lane with last wave 7 mob cannot hold at all. i use max E1 gummy and max e1 angelina which are better than orchid and spot by stats and follow exact steps, there will still leaks, and i try this more than 10 times. why is it?

RNG and i dont know man, I did use Podenco with her slow gas and it worked maybe you should pick the 2nd buff for slider to bounce the wall and use it from left side so you will have higher chance to hit and stun them

Not sure why, but this doesn't work for me. I place Kal'tsit / Whisperain on top to heal Cuora, but she eventually dies and I do not manage to kill other Brandguiders.

This stage sucked so bad. That said, if Lappy doesn't fuck up her targeting and attacks the same enemy as the defender, Cuora and Lappy make a very very nice pair in the top right for chewing through those Seabrand Spreader enemies in the top right. Cuora's ability will let her block four which let's Lappland's wolf spirit do it's massive arts DPS to both of them at the same time and kill them both very quickly. Only caveat is that you do need to damage one of them a little before her ability activates because it's just not quite enough to kill them, does like 95% of their health. Wolf Spirit then does just chew through the third one without any kind of problem.

At around 4 I keep leaking and idk why (when you swap Gravel for a defender) My defender seems to be blocking some dogs? but yours isn't blocking them

so im not sure if im timing something wrong of if hoshigura is just not a good tank for this map, but every time, my midnight is either not killing one of the dudes fast enough or something is happening since my tank is getting hit with the stun and leaks

I have the same problem, hand of the saint in this video is hitting for 50% of their life bar but when I try it nothing happens other than the stun.

Because they can dodge so... yeah, luck. But if you really cant pass the stage you can just get 2 stars and skip it.
