I heard a word this morning by Stephanie Ike and she said timelines are a way of inviting the devil to derail you from God’s plan for you. This made a lot of sense especially when you were talking about the dates- if you were not intentionally listening to God’s voice you’d have easily settled down with the wrong person. So we should be careful when we pray- let’s tell God what we want without timelines or deadlines and let His will be done. Let us remember God makes everything beautiful in His time.

In as much as I agree with this to an extent,it is important to know how powerful and gracious and loving God is, it is actually okay to tell Him that you would want such and such at a particular time. Don't pray from a point of fear, especially the fear of the devil, he is so powerless and beneath our feet. Walk in faith and courage. Pray knowing that God is the creator of this whole world,universe,cosmos. He is so faithful.

We can desire certain things at a certain time and even pray for them in faith to happen at a particular time. But ultimately we have to allow God’s will to be done and surrender our timelines to Him who knows what’s best for us and He graciously gives it to us when the time is right & according to His will🙏 “Yet not my will, but yours be done” ought to be the posture of our hearts🙏

Thank you for watching🙏 About your question on how do you know when God is speaking to you I would recommend listening to the episode I did on “Walking in Discernment & Hearing God’s Voice” where we broke down the conversation more clearly👇🏽 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIfMaWmwmNd_aJYsi=rbF7V0C-JLKinOSp But personally I normally have my quiet time with God whereby after my time of prayer I sit in silence and listen to what the Holy Spirit could be saying to me. I normally have a journal with me so I write down everything that I sense the Holy Spirit is saying. Many times God will confirm what he’s said through His word and sometimes use other people around to speak the same word he downloaded to you and with time whatever He spoke eventually comes to pass. Things begin to fall in alignment following God’s word and you’ll notice a consistent pattern when things begin to align to confirm that indeed it was God who spoke. Also whatever God speaks to you has to align with His word (Bible) Hope that helps🤗
