“It tastes like something you’d have at someone else’s house” just made me do a spit take with my morning coffee. Thanks for the great start of the day!

I can't tell you what this channel does for me. I look forward to every episode. Cheeseballs - reminds me of Hickory Farms at the mall back in the day.

Loved this episode! The pigs in a blanket, on a raft, as a cannon, etc. absolutely cracked me up! I will be making homemade chips today! 😊

Can see how you two "old friends" bounce off each other very well. When I worked in a restaurant kitchen, we called our Tuna melt (made on French bread) The Tuna Barge. (they often deflated, capsized, split in two, caught fire...)

Cheese balls are much easier to eat and look neater while serving if you make them into cheese logs before rolling in pecans or other coatings.

So funny to see you and James discover firecrackers. I grew up in the Great Plains with these being made at Christmas, Fourth of July, and game nights. Ranch seasoning and chili flakes were traditional. They truly are delicious! Snack on, Randy and DPT Team!

Love this so much! I was giggling away watching you both. I'm going to try making firecrackers this weekend. How they stay crispy must be magic. 🎉

Love your appreciation of retro foods. Firecrackers are an amazing discovery and the various pigs are a hysterical idea for a party..I would actually deform them on purpose!

Love that you showed the pigs in a tragedy….it happens to all of us at some point. I’m tired of always seeing everything perfect & making people afraid to cook if they have a failure. I don’t like melon but think mom would love the melon pickles. I might try those for her. It would give her something different to snack on. I love yuzu too!!!!

It's Pah-kawn. Pee-can is more of a British affect. The etymology is French derived from a Native American word.

Wow. First of all, I was horrified that you chose Vienna Sausages to make your Pigs in a Blanket. BTW, Pillsbury Crescent Rolls would have worked much better. In response to your attitude concerning the Cheese Ball, that’s been a Southern tradition for ages. It’s a Southern thing, so we certainly don’t expect you to “ Get It”. Oh and Yes! You were wearing a turban.

I’ve made those saltines and they’re additive!!! And…….my mom used to make this cheese ball back in the day and I still make it. Cream cheese, blue cheese (Maytag), minced onions, sharp cheddar, garlic powder. Form it into a ball and she would roll 1 ball in pecans, 1 parsley and 1 with paprika. Get some triscuits and you’ll love it! The blue cheese and extra sharp cheddar really make it delicious. I love your channel keep the great content coming! ❤
