@@Papparoni Nah it's just a gross insult, as are meal deals recently, I am sick of cold sandwiches as well for work, I am sick of most food in general to be fair, I am mainly settled into a veggie diet recently lots of bean stews and rice, but it's hard to prepare when juggling work and the kids not for the actual cooking but to source proper dried beans and lentils, a few months ago I bought a pack of beef mince from the local supermarket, and it was stinking so, it has put me off, I got laughed at taking the meat back for a refund, it was that shocking and I got refused as I had opened the package so aye. I have been experimenting with mushrooms and legumes, for making "burgers" etc. Been going good really, no one notices the wee bit of marmite I chuck in. If my teenager wants meat I will oblige, I am not forcing this on anyone, and iron is important especially for us women. I take a vitamin supplement as I have done for a good while. I think I need to do a nice lentil soup as it was freezing today, a vat and bake an actual batch of rolls from scratch. The quality of fresh produce has went downhill again I fear in our supermarkets, I got a nice looking braeburn apple to have with my lunch, it was old mealy and chewy, that seems to be a trend. Mouldy grapes and stringy celery on the shelves, is it just me? Everything is rank, I wish we had a greengrocer near me. Anyway thank you for trying these filthy things so we don't have to, it is a service to the public! I will try the no pork sausage rolls from lidl tonight and let you know if they are as manky as the normal lidl ones, it's basically the same crap in them, but pork has been replaced with soy protein, still, all the goodness of rubbish and chalk :D
@Papparoni2 ай бұрын
They should've refunded you for that beef, fools. All food is way less nutritious than when we were young, I find that only a few farm shops around here sell proper food. There are reasons for the mouldy stuff, smaller stuff etc but I will be arrested if I say why on here. Look forward to hearing how manky that no pork action was...

@@Papparoni I know, I complained via email as well I complain rarely and 10 years ago I got a £10 coupon sent in the post just because of a mislabelled melon, piel de sapo one that was supposed to be half price and I didn't notice I got charged fully as I had my at the time 5 year old zooming about my feet, hehe, aww memories, I think I was a bit stressed out and wasn't working so did a email disappointment to them, and £10 was a surprise. Exactly Paps, I am not going to rant about "You know" as I enjoy your channel, I love it still. Lighthearts and kindhearts. Well I am going in biased as I have had right tasty actual oinky sausage rolls most of my life of course. We shall see how the Soy protein (aka soya bean paste) will stand up, I have been trying Red sticker action, and a lot of it is rank. I should have videoed me doing vegan meat replacements, honest reactions!

At £2 each, I am glad that I chose a sainsbury's steak and gravy pie for lunch for the same money. The best places for rolls like that are the lay-by food vans. Hot, freshly cooked and to be honest, I've never had a bread roll that's rank from them either. Thanks for trying those out so that we don't need to.

They looked like the kind of things that you'd get at a railway station chain cafe, because you forgot how bad they tasted last time. At least Rustlers are decent enough to give you a sachet of sauce. I suppose you could toast the buns and fry/grill the bacon and sausages. But, if you're doing that, you may as well buy bacon, sausages and rolls...✌

I highly recommend you try and go to Sainsbury’s and try their Taste The Difference slow cooked Harissa lamb tagine with pomegranate glaze. It is absolutely delicious it’s very tasty. I had it about 3 weeks ago. It costs £7.50 without a Nectar Card and £6.50 with a Nectar Card. You should definitely try this. Try it alongside a baked potato like I did. It’s amazing.

Definitely no Papp Bum Rap here. There's nothing fancy about the product or it's price. Personally I'd have divided the bacon and sausage equally between the two baps, drowned them in brown sauce and thought of something sensual while devouring the disappointment. Most likely the bread is made that way to withstand the microwave treatment. Time to revisit that little food van you got those delicious baps from last year. Cheers Papp 👍😀

The word " Dense " could apply to anybody buying this food item 😳 No way can any bread based food stuff be well cooked or re-heated in a microwave. It stands even less of a chance with no butter or dairy spreads. No flavour inhancer (red sauce, brown sauce or in the case of the sausage, maybe mustard. A cheaply made, in terms of quality ingredients. Fast food fix. Finger food to fill your 15 minute meal break. So from me, it's a no thank you to the baps But a big thank you for taking the time to warn us and taking one for the team😊Allan&Family

I was really hoping for much better from these two Snacksters products Papp... I used to buy their Burgers from my local corner shop every now and then... But after the quality started to go downhill... I never really bothered with them again... And that must be about five years ago now... So i was secretly keeping my fingers crossed that these would be of a much better quality this time my friend... But sadly not... I could buy myself a pack of 6 Warburtons Sliced Soft White Rolls for £1.20... And a pack of 5 Aldi Deli German Frikadellen Patties for £2.89 pal... So for about the same money as these two Snacksters Bacon Bap & Sausage Bap... I could buy something i would enjoy a lot more... I'll be giving both of these a miss my friend... But i appreciate the heads-up Papp... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺
