I need to catch that fish. Never have caught a Flathead. Thats my goal is a flathead and a good 40lb+ spoonbill. We got a 55lb one last year. only 2 weeks away :)

@@Sappwildoutdoors about twelve years ago me and my younger brother were down on Table Rock at the Bridgeport ramp and he taught a mailbox still on the post in about 40 ft of water and there was papers inside of it so wet you couldn't tell what it was

Snagging can be alot of work. Especially out of the boat like that. I fished for 3 years lost alot of hooks before I caught my first one. Atleast you didn't get skunked with fish entirely. I got two this year. Thanks for showing the simple truth of life. BBQ grill. Lol.
