Very true about Funtcase. Imo he remixed the wrong song. His style fits perfectly fine with tunes that are not so drawn to melody. His remix of The Paradox for instance complimented his and Cookie’s style in the very best way I can think of.

I listen to lots of Riddim and bangers more than I would like to, but the difference is that I know where that enjoyment comes from, and it's definitely not from a place of creativity, but more so from the aspects of sound engineering (because let's face it, Oolacile and MurDa are awesome).

The smoothness of such a lovely voice just doesn’t mash properly with the roughness of this messy drop. Only some can truly perform a bipolar theme and an efficient one that compliments both styles with ease, which I feel was not the case here. Perhaps it is tricky, but it is definitely not as simple as slapping a Riddim drop to an unrelated song imo.

It's funny cus i saw so many comments about people that want the "old dubstep" back, and they don't even fucking know what they are talking about. I just listen this and it's pritty old school for me (2011's Dubstep kind of). I mean, this haves the classical basses, the classical samples. What the hell you want? The stupid and repetitive cymatic sample's kind of "Dubstep"?. That sucks, they are the same.
