Thanks for the tutorial! I finished one earring yesterday!! Took forever but it was my first beadwork ever!

Yay! That makes me so happy to hear. Stick with it; the next earring should be much easier - lol.

Do you ever use the baguette,tube beads for earrings?
@josietaylor7643 Жыл бұрын
This is totally not working for me... I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if I have the wrong string, or bead size.. but I'm following what your saying and showing but I cannot get the first 4 beads right... I'm using illusion cord, and these tiny seed beads.. should I just use regular string
@snailsandfairydust Жыл бұрын
I am not familiar with illusion thread, so that could be the problem. Your thread definitely needs to be very flexible. I recommend a 6lb weight Fireline for the top part of the earring and a Nymo D or Miyuki beading thread for the fringe. And size 11 Miyuki Delica Beads.

I really like these earrings. The pattern reminds me of flying birds. So pretty. Where do you get your inspiration?
@snailsandfairydust Жыл бұрын
The pattern is called take flight. I was inspired by geese flying south for the winter.

Can I use regular #11 seed beads for this project ?

Yes, you can, but the earrings will be bigger.

Hi, I love your video! I’m interested in using wire guards. What size do you use?
@snailsandfairydust Жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delay. I actually have a few sizes in my stash that I use and they all work fine. They are .021" , .024" and .031" Anything bigger than that just feels a bit too large when you are pairing it with this size of beadwork.

Thank you for your interest. You can find it on my website, Snailsandfairydust.com or on my Etsy shop, snailsandfairydustUK. Unfortunately, I can not place a link here, but you can find links to both sites in the description below the video.
