In this video I'm taking a look at Snake-Eyes post the Aptil banlist and trying out new routes for the synchro plays. enjoy!

What makes it worse is that the combo,prior to the dis pater summon, is bad to nibiru because of the flamberge recursion.

Really enjoyed the second combo. I notice you don't use poplar's effect to place a card in the s/t. Wondering if there's a way to use that effect to avoid having to discard 2. Hope to see more combos!

My bigger question in these kinda things now is are these boards Evenly proof or similar? Baronne wasn’t just to protect vs Nib in combo deck, it was also just a massive monster that stopped most board breakers. So if I have an Evenly, a Talents, or something similar now, these boards pretty quickly start to get chipped apart. This is probably still a decent deck, not saying otherwise for sure, but I think the consequences of this change goes beyond just needing to find new ways to avoid the rock.

You just banish everything except of flameberge and you have princess pop from gy + any hand traps + insane follow up on the crackback because of flameberge. Remember, your opponent only has 3 cards to play with after 2 hand rips and an evenly and they lost their battle phase. Snake eyes isn't "still a decent deck" it's tier 1. Pure and fire king

Just asking: if opponent, on the first summon of Omega (second combo) used D:D Crow on jet synchron, would it be good? What would the end board be?
@alexYu-gi-oh3 ай бұрын
Use omega to rip 1 from hand then use poplar and flamberge to go for ip, flamberge revive 2 and then you just go for a regular ip + princess in the gy end board and your opponent is still on 4 cards because you ripped 1 with omega and they used crow

@@alexYu-gi-oh so, which is the best way to hit SE going second?
@alexYu-gi-oh3 ай бұрын
@@Federico1871 other than shifter there's no single hand trap that beats SE immediately. Some hands may be weak to imperm/veiler on ash for example but generally they can play through almost everything. You need at least 2 hand traps

In the first combo Isn’t it better to set up Zealantis instead of Pitknight?

pitknight sets the negated monster to 0 so it is pretty much also battle protection :)

Ruling question about the handrip: don’t the cards return back to the opponent‘s hand during the next standby phase? Omega allows you to put one banished card into the grave. What about the other card? I mean, you only use 1 Omega, how can you put both cards into the grave so they don’t return to opponent? Sorry, I am not that familiar with Omega. I probably overlook something.
@douggeary85023 ай бұрын
They return on your next stand by. So for opennents turn they stay there. During their turn you shuffle them into deck with dis pater Omni negate.
@von2543 ай бұрын
@@douggeary8502 the first one banished by omega should be banished permenantly since omega and the card banished return together. Which can't happen because dispater summoned the omega back from banished. The second one should come back during your next standby though, but you will more than likely shuffle that one back with dispater

For the second combo you could have done the same combo but you get to leave the field spell up and flamberge and ip are in the backrow if you sequence things differently

@FlyBoyKhi - summon ash get poplar then field spell and put oak in the s/t zone - send ash and oak for flamberge - make ip with both and chain block flamberge with poplar and put flamberge in the s/t zone and you bring back oak and ash and oak brings back poplar - summon witch by sending a card from hand this is important witch get original then activate sending either ash or poplar to summon jet - make omega to rip 1 - make princess with ip and the ash or poplar CANNOT be oak and bring back either poplar or ash doesn't matter - you then use oaks effect sending princess and it self to summon flamberge - then put ip in s/t zone - summon jet from grave to then summon formula Make dis pater and summon back omega for a second hand rip So after everything your end board should be dis pater as your only monster with field spell up and flamberge and ip in the s/t zone with princess in grave

Yes the first combo you get nibd then you have 4 bodies to combo with you can easily end up on a similar board to the non synchro board with ip, pitknight etc. So thats nib proof because nib didnt do anything impactful enough. Thats a pretty popular thing in snake eyes. The first combo if you get nibd before appo you use temple to summon flameberge from the backrow, link with the nib token into IP then use flameberge to summon 2 level 1s and combo from there as well. Thats also a pretty known play in snake eyes even before the hits. Please learn better before calling someone a liar (:

@alexYu-gi-oh I think what most people mean when they say Nib proof is when you can set up a negate before the fifth summon, while in this case we call it “plays through Nib” Great video!
