That's a hell of a nice knife! I'd carry it proudly!

Thanks Phil. Awesome to see the sword being built wile holding it in hand! Glad you found it a good challenge. There where time i was worried I was throwing to many custom details at ya. (FYI) I never would of known you had to weld the bottom of the guard. To anyone looking for a Historic custom build Phil's your guy! Great work and amazing customer service! Will be having him make me a Messer in the future.

Very nice work! I like D guard bowies, and the original and yours have lots of character. I like the way your videos are structured, the end segment where you do a close up of the finished blade and sheath is very nice and gives a chance for the viewer to really appreciate the finished work.

that was very unique build, , that project set the bar high: snake motif on the guard, and esp that belt and the sheath. I like that belt, bandoleer, over the shoulder with the flat place for the frog. OMG wow, that we a fancy sheath and rig for going to town with your blade. Excellent project, very historical and collectable. Be more Viking!

Learned about this knife from your great work and currently grinding the bevels on my own Bowie. You legitimtely reignited my passion for blade Smithing 😁😁

What an AWESOME job! I would love for someone to teach me how to do blacksmithing.

It's something I got into on my own, but there's probably more blacksmiths near ya than you think.

@@PhilBaumhardt We used to have a blacksmith right here in my hometown but he died years ago, I did have him do some work for me though, he did things the old school way too.
