Hi Leeson, i think moonbean galaxy channa is Channa Bipul and these channa snakehead is super aggressive dwarf even to its own species and esp so if a pair is formed and they hunt down and kill other fishes slow enough to be caught that is but they have super beauty blue colors but they need cold temperature in Singapore yes can survive i think but u will definitely need to have aircon or cool down their tank to about 16'c to 21'c estimated i think, these moonbeam galaxy channa might be intermediate fish keepers cheers. To better verify please ask your aquarium shop seller to confirm with their supplier will be good

Cheers friend thats a nice dwarf snakehead max about 16cm and like all channa need surface or floating plants so that can feel more at ease in your tank, same thing they need medium size to large tank will be best for them and keep in a pair if you can get one pair , suggest you can observe in the aquarium shop which two are already pair if lucky can spot a pair, and also very aggressive if matured, so cheers and have fun with your channa and remember to sub and see ya again friend

Wow friend i have not tried it but i think Channa Asiatica and Pulchra are aggressive channa even they are small channa and other fishes :P might be not so good , suggest channa fishes to be kept in their own tanks and silver arowana and silver dollars can be in one tank provided silver dollar fishes are big to middle size which they can defend themselves

Good afternoon sir, generlly channa striata requires 40% proetin in its feed as it is a acarnivore. to reduce feed cost ,instead of 40% protein i am feeding channa striata with 32% protein pellet feed in pond culture, Will there be slow growth or no growth at all with 32% protein?

Hi friend i suggest you have two tanks of Channa snakehead fishes, with one tank feeding 40% and the other tank feeding at 32% protein and test it for sometime e.g. 1 month or more to get aggregated results for your 2 separate tanks of snakehead fishes, from there you can also have fries of estimated same age group or size to take measurements so that your results overtime will be more accurate, cheers hope that helps friend and remember to sub and see ya again
