That promo Jake cut explaining his heel turn is one of my favorite promos Jake has ever done. Its a great summarization of his turn while staying in character. I'm pretty sure CM Punk took inspiration for his promo at Death Before Dishonor III after winning the ROH Title.

The Jake/Warrior vignettes were gold. Too bad Warrior was fired after Summerslam 91, that feud would have been amazing. Also, they were laughing at Warrior having to do it his way. I saw nothing wrong with it. On the contrary it would have been silly for Warrior to just lay in the Casket with no resistance after nearly "dying" in it. After the second vignette Jake said it was 3am and he was dead and drunk. And he wonders why Warrior didn't trust him to be reliable. The interviewer keeps instigating that Warrior must have been difficult to work with in those vignettes, but Jake keeps saying that no he was on onboard with it.

I just finished watching Jake in a TV title match with Terry Taylor from March 1985.When he hit Terry with the DDT on a steel chair had so much impact. That match earned you the dubious titles of cerebral assassin,innovator of violence and hideous genius for all time

Jake Roberts feuds in 1991 were great. Rick Martel, Earthquake, Sid, and Savage. If Warrior hadnt been fired after Summer Slam that program with the Warrior would have been the Highlight of his career. I really glad Warrior was able to apologize to Jake Roberts at the Hall of Fame induuction right before he passed away a couple a days later. I can understand Roberts experience with Warrior was bad. But at aleast Warrior was able to make amends with Roberts before he passed.
