I stopped playing YuGiOh pretty much after the first series, the original. Never really got that into it and had no other duel partners aside from my brother, and then someone also ended up stealing my deck at school. So pretty much moved on from that fad pretty fast. Crazy to think the game is still around today, and it's pretty much unrecognizable. To me, getting a Summoned Skull out was pretty much a power move. There's strategies now where you can win the whole game first or second turn.

To be fair, that was pretty common even in the old times; in certain regions, the Exchange of the Spirit FTK was literally so powerful, granted you surrendered when going second, you could win a match against your opponent without them playing a single card. and this was back in 2002.
