Your pace and your presentation really changes with the time of the day ; you clearly had a long day! Very even, mono tone description - easy to follow and informative! No nonsense, thank you!

The first day that I had my thermal cam (not a Snap On) I went to a customer's place. I did the job I went there to do and he asked if I would take a look at one of his trucks. It seems that after they were driving for 10 or 15 minutes the headlights would shut off, and "we've tried everything". The camera made it easy to see the hot circuit breaker which had loose terminals in the fuse box. I extracted the terminals and replaced them, problem solved in literally 20 minutes from first look to completed repair, and 10 of those minutes were spent waiting for it to act up. Immediately afterwards, he was complaining that he had about 100 or so partially filled propane tanks, and no good way to tell how full each one was. I grabbed a Sharpie and as fast as I could walk past them I had them marked. Still the same guy, he said that he had a leak in his roof. We went up and it was easy to see the leak- it only took a couple seconds. While I was there I took a call from another customer who complained that his car wouldn't start in the morning. I had him park it inside on the charger until I got there. I walked past the car with the camera, and it took literally 20 seconds to see the hot alternator. Anything taking down a car battery is getting warm. That was the first day that I owned it.

Awesome. I think the ones that use this technology are the ones that are going to excel in this industry as more and more electronics are added to vehicles. Plus the home use stuff is a bonus!!!

I have the eeth310 and I think it is one of the best diagnostic tools I have ever purchased! Diagnostics in electrical, and high speed bearings in our forestry equipment has totally been changed for the better. Faster troubleshooting = less down time = more profit 👍

I just bought this tool haven't had a chance to use it yet, what sold me was it picking up heat from a resistor in a wrapped harness.

I use a FLIR One attached to my cell phone. cost me about $200. Works great. Pics, Video, etc.. Not as full featured as this device, but 10% of the cost.

I think this will be on my list for 2019. I like the ability to do split screen and take a video. Should make troubleshooting hydraulics and electronics on heavy equipment much easier. Plus no more temp sticks for checking my preheat for welding repairs 👍

Have the previous Snap on version. Been trying to use it more and more. But its been about 900.00 paper weight. Up until i tested a bad glow plug relay for fun. Saw batt post get hot and glow plug side stayed cool.. replaced controller and could see both posts show currant along with wiring to the glow plugs that was cool to see. Otherwise been mostly used on seat heaters. Like j said need to use it more to off set the cost. But of course as soon as it was paid off then new version that is almost 2x the price that i paid for older one.

Thanks Jamie, very informative. LOL@ Slightly-Less-Shy-Jamie's intro. It's a really neat tool, but $1895 puts it out of reach of us DIY guys who wouldn't use it every day.

I really like the concept of this tool, but the cost of it really bummed me out, I just can't justify the cost verses benefit. Maybe at a high volume shop it could pay for itself, sorry just my two cents. Thanks for showing it though!!

Jeremy your awesome. But Jaime is too much. I can see she really wants be in the videos but is hesitant. It's her insecurity, I know it.. It only makes herself look foolish hiding her face. Like the time she was writing on the board, to modeling the jacket and now to this. Either be on the Videos or not. It makes viewership very awkward. It's sad to see someone having to fear other people's perception of one's self... JAMIE if your reading this your an awesome human being. Be yourself and hope to see you on Jeremy's videos.
