I just ordered one, can't wait. The testers VW/Audi provides us are massive and very difficult to use for test drives.

@CPthetooladdict2 ай бұрын

CP!!!! You know i am not a mechanic....but it seems to me that an ability to show a customer data (with their name on it) while you explain the issue to them is a huge tool for making it easier for them to understand & allow you to make the correct repair. Being able to remotely access the data while test driving is another plus. However don't the high dollar computer based scanner analyzers do the same thing? If you had one of those - why would you need one of these? Do scanners record cylinder compression or fuel rail pressures? or is that something that has to be done externally? Last Question....What does Henry think about this new tool?
@CPthetooladdict3 жыл бұрын
Yes the like my autel ultra it stores those but doesn't provide cylinder pressures and fuel rail pressures not the greatest especially when checking for leaks plus this will be nice for evap so I can store digital information on things like leaks on those..very good questions larry I'm throughly impressed with them its good to see people that want to understand why we pay for these expenses to benefit customers and make life easier to explain!!

It is a nifty innovation. I first saw and played with it on the diag version of the Rock ‘N’ Roll truck (whatever they call it lol). First on my radar is investing in a better and more comprehensive fuel injection kit. Mac and Snap On are at the top of my list and I’m having a hard time deciding between the two. Maybe knowing this tool is out there is the tie breaker, but like you more or less said in the video, these are just hoses with different connectors and can be mated with the right adapters.
@CPthetooladdict3 жыл бұрын
I Definitely like my mac kit I will give you my opinion briefly how I made my decision the mac kit has twice the fittings as the snap-on and alot you may never use but it's better safe then sorry they are both about the same money but like I said the amount of fittings are substantially more.
