You don't owe anyone an explanation for how you spend your own money. No matter how much you justify or explain a purchase or an expense...the haters are still gonna hate. No matter what. You do you. Love your content. Keep grinding

Right lol, the snap on haters will bitch and cry about everything trying to justify why their Chinese boxes are full of Chinese shit that they have somehow convinced themselves is "just as good as snap on" which we all know is a fuckin lie

Christian you are a very smart young man. I sold Snap-On Tools for 15 years in the 80's & 90's and yes about once or twice a week I would get the Idiot who would walk up to me with the old "HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU SELL THESE OVERPRICED TOOLS". But not one was a professional mechanic. There was about 98% of the people in my territory who had bought or was on the books with me at all times. Yes, we played the price game for fun but not one every argued the quality because they knew I would stand behind everything I sold. And let me say this a professional mechanic will put your tools to the test every day all day and you better be right and with Snap-On I could rest easy they had my back. Not one time did they let me down because I was their customer. Keep up the good work my man. Thanks Les.

P.S. If Harbor Freight or the Tiawan market wants to get in the business of professional tools put them in a tire shop or transmission shop those folks can destroy tools by repetitive use every hour 8 hours a day. They will put a good Snap-On man to the test, but we still come out on top, I had a bunch of them.

I don’t owe a dime on my tools either. I work on my own company equipment. Just recently I saw a picture from 15 years ago or so when I only had one nice Craftsman box that was full but now I have 9 full boxes and an entire shop of equipment and shelves of blow molded cases including a crazy Milwaukee battery tool wall. Not all the tools were brand new but I paid cash for it all. Cash is king.

I’ve worked in the HD, Trucking & Automotive field over 35 years as SE US Rep & E. US Trainer(Yes Caterpillar was one of our national accounts ) & part time racer. It’s interesting how different tool boxes are set up. Not just for “part time” mechanics but fir new guys to see what’s actually used. You’ve done a good job at that but…. If I got a $1.00 for every time you said “Cheap” I could buy a Top Line Snap-On cabinet like yours! I love Snap-On but it makes no sense for a part timer to devote that much on tools they might only use a few times. “Economy” prices tools do have their place. It’s like your driving a new Ferrari & feel the need to give everyone else in the road the finger🖕! One thing that would be of help to new people would be a ball park figure on the true expense involved so they don’t faint first time they step into a Snap-In truck. Good job👍

Use lighter fluid to take the black tape off. Soak it for about 40 seconds and it should come right off. It would have been better to have still had the badge on to use as a pressure plate for the adhesive to have hung on to. This hack of using lighter fluid is wonderful for tape, price tags and labels.

Coming from a fellow heavy equipment mechanic who is on the road to have a setup close to yours.. The intro is a bit over the top, almost douchey. I agree that you can make good money doing overtime on an hourly pay and buy tools responsibly to get there. That’s the path that I’ve been on and I respect you for being much further along the same path. Most of these comments are all in good fun “meme” type comments. The “how much money does he owe” comments are going to come when you own that much of their product. Shit they’ll come even with the box alone. Its true for many people, and It’s just the nature of the industry and the easy thing to poke fun at. You gotta elegantly destroy the haters to keep the good fans. Be better than that

This thing is fantastic. kzbin.infoUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn Easy to store in a bag in "screwdriver" position, not heavy but well built, and the location of the button makes it easy to screw or unscrew with one hand in either "gun" or "screwdriver" position. My only real complaint is there isn't a clip anywhere to store another bit, and the bit isn't a combo dual-ended bit either, so the flathead and P1/P0 philips bits we have to carry around invariably get misplaced.Note: Apparently Black + Decker changed this same Li2000 model from "Type 2" to "Type 3". This new "Type 3" appears to be slightly lighter, and the charging plug is now larger, with a little metal piece to keep it snug. I never noticed the "Type 2" version charger plug to not be perfectly snug, so not sure why this change was made - it does make it annoying that our shop now has 8 of these, and the new 3 have different charging plugs :/
