Beautiful tools and shop what's even better is a man that knows how to use them and after all the years he still appreciates them 👍😎👍

What’s telling about this setup is not how clean the tools are but the drawer liners are spotless. Not a speck of dirt on them. Beautiful.

Great stuff. I work on AC VW's as well. I drive a squarback , it was my 5th VW project and the first one I actually finished. A plethora of knowledge obviously know your stuff.

Absolutely love the setup, the cleanliness, the organization, and that you know what car every specialty tool is for! I'm with you on the blow molded cases, I can't stand them in a tool box, they just take up so much space.I love my lockers for that reason alone. If you don't like the Matco ratchets much check out Ko-ken Tools z-series 72 tooth ratchets, smaller heads than the Matco's and I'd argue on par or better feel than Snap-on. Check out my old 5s tool box tour for some organization ideas, I see you have some Widgets in your wrench drawer already. I love them for a lot of tools, its all in how you use them though!

@@Olsenspecabsolutely! I take great pride in my stuff and I love seeing others that do also. I saw in another comment that you do have some Koken ratchets, I was going to say check out the purely mechanical Nut Grip sockets they offer too instead of magnetic sockets. I work in an area that has tons of metal dust and shavings so magnets are terrible to keep clean.

Its beautiful for sure, and I agree with you: those blow molded cases are Wasting a lot of precious real estate! Get a lockable double door metal cabinet!

Another way to extract a broken off bolt is the mig welder if sticking up.Crank up the heat a couple notches welding a nut on.I have the Williams version of those Blue Point ratcheting wrenches,look the same
@Olsenspec4 ай бұрын
Done that many times! Works great on aluminum as the weld doesn’t stick. Great trick

Since your not a fan of the Matco ratchets, why not check out Koken ratchets, they make extremely low profile 1/4 and 3/8 in a 1/4 body versions too! Very well made tools I am sure you wouldn't be disappointed in them!

Have a couple of them in the road box, they are ok!

@@Olsenspec thanks for the in-depth run through of your set up, most tool box tours just skim over the majority of tools whilst you really gave a thorough overview!

In regards to talking about your OG stubby ratchet that you put a 3/8 head on. What is the part number on the body of ratchet?

The tools look like they are used on Lego. No amount of cleaning can prevent maring on the working surfaces in my opinion. Fantastic collection. Maybe its the great lighting.
