Russell Oleyer was awesome in the Men's Preliminaries on American Gladiators. Also, Russell Oleyer was fantastic on Pyramid, Tug of War, Snapback, PowerBall, Gauntlet, and the Men's Eliminator.

Turbo through the years,especially after his knee surgery went from someone who played hard to someone who was borderline dirty..Season 5,6,and 7 he's picking fights with contenders and this is the season he punches Kyler Storm..He got away with a lot the last few season s of the show.

@@juanortiz3323 In the early years it was borderline dirty. But here, you could see that he was throwing that elbow with intent. Gauntlet isn't that big of a deal, as the Glads get more leeway when they have the cushions on, but this was one of the more blatant applications I've seen.

the gladiators have a hug advantage, the contestants are all much smaller and the gladiators do these events all of the time.

Season 4 was when viewership was its highest apparently but I think it was the season that some viewers lost interest in the show in comparison to seasons 2 and 3. Season 5 was great but I don't think it was a great idea to change it more into a gameshow format for Season 6 rather than focus more on an athletic competition

Hawk's bluster during Tug-o-war is the kind of pro wrestling crap that I think killed the show. In 2008, it was nothing but that. I prefer some earlier seasons where the gladiators were real competitors trying to win, but not full of this trash talk and cop outs.
