I’m definitely more of a Fitted guy myself, but like many other fellow hat lovers, finding that “right” fit can often be a struggle, especially when you don’t live near a place where you can try hats on, so I’ll sometimes opt for a SnapBack instead. Anyways, sweet video man!

Hi, I noticed you said that a 7 1/4 is too tight and a 7 1/2 is too loose. You stated that there is "nothing in between." However, there is. There is a size 7 3/8.

7 1/8 for me. It’s tight enough it fits on my head without moving. But not so tight it cuts off circulation to my head. Its ok to have a little red mark on your forehead from where your cap was. That’s mainly because of sweat and it being pressed against your forehead. If your getting headaches or your forehead is sore. I would recommend going a size up or stretching the hat.

I like the look of the fitted ones a bit more than the snapbacks, but its a pain in the ass to find the right size of the new new era fitted caps. They all differ so much in size, even if you try several fitted caps of the same size. By the way one of my old fitted cap got wet and it shrunked to the point that it didn't fit anymore to my head lol.

I prefer fitted hats and wear them a lot even in my videos. Never really been a fan of snapbacks and the new wave swagger at all. 💯

Does he not know there's a 7 3/8? Also new era hats expands as you wear it and it shrinks back as it dries out when your not wearing it. You can stretch a new era 5950 with a hat jack as far as it will go and the hat will return to the original size in just a few hours after removing the stretcher. Steam might make it stay stretched better but I bet it still goes back close to original size. I have over 75 5950 hats and this has been true with every hat I've tried to stretch.

9forty is very square and curved compared to the 9fifty curved counterpart

Im 35 i got two of each. My snapbacks 59fiftys are cotton not polyester little more lightweight but the fitted on field caps are worn by plenty of millennials on the field now and they are the best hat there is no debate
