NICE! seems like Wuthering Waves is mostly running quite well now. credit to Kuro actually. I remember the launch patch was a bit rough, especially with the load times between teleport waypoints on older devices, but they really did a ton of optimisations over time and it mostly runs well too. PLUS, they added controller support to Android very quickly, something that Hoyoverse still refuses to do till this day. Not to mention they already have a MacOS version in the works. Anyway, since the phone has USB 3.2 plus charging bypass, if you have a usb-c to HDMI+charging adapeter, can even play wuthering waves and HSR on a large display when paired to a bluetooth controller. that would really take advantage of the insane performance on the 8 Elite🤣

on the phone itself, while the downgrade to the camera hardware is a bit of a shame, i like their pivot back to focus more on gaming actually. put the money towards faster RAM and storage, USB 3.2 port, etc. just too bad Genshin still got no controller support. if can take advantage of their super resolution upscaling, plug into a larger monitor, and enjoy the game on a large screen too. :/

Did you test any other phone with Snapdragon Elite? I'm in hunt for a gaming phone and can't decide which one to go for Redmagic 10 pro, Asus Rog 9, Or the upcoming Samsung S25 Ultra, I know the later is not considered a gaming phone, but I don’t think its performance will be significantly lower compared to other gaming phones.

I haven’t unfortunately, but what I can say is compared to Redmi K80 Pro and Realme GT7 Pro that’s got 8 Elite, the iQOO is by far the only one that supports USB 3.2 with display output Now Redmagic and ROG looks solid for sure, if you like the gaming aesthetic and usualy Samsung is the best if you want to get some work done (multitasking, samsung DeX, etc) although performance might not be the best for gaming These are some of my opinion of the currect landscape, and hopefully it helps!

Yeah yeah absolutely fine! You’ll only really push it if you do gaming with picture in picture, then open like multiple tabs browser, whatsapp, and let’s say throw a discord call at the same time (pretty crazy I know haha)

Good question but all passively cooled device will behave like that, and they’re designed for that, CPUs on PC for example has a T junction of 100deg Celcius usually

Haha I know, I tried contacting through every method but no luck, they said it's due to 3rd party software or account sharing which is quite a broad category, I do log in to a lot of devices (I mean cause it's for review) and recently my brother's been playing it as well but come on, I didn't sell the account or use mods 😂 Anyways I let go of it already, made good progress on the new account (world level 34) so should be on track for future showcase. Just praying it won't be slapped with a ban again, but so far the iQOO 13 is a beast!

@@ghosticegaming9715 take this from an Apple user (gua pake iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV dan HomePod WKWK) tapi gua bakal rekomen iQOO 13 ini buat main mobile game Sebelumnya Infinix GT20 Pro itu juga oke banget di kelasnya, stabil fpsnya dibanding POCO tapi sekarang ada 8 Elite sih gawat deh, mantep banget Kalau iPhone itu kencang tapi didesain buat burst workload, maksudnya kayak buka aplikasi atau yang singkat2, dan karena ga ada cooling system nya (vapor chamber etc) dia cepet panas lalu throttling kalah dipake main game, gua bahkan lebih demen main mobile legends 120fps di Android 3-5jutaan daripada iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone baru kurang tau tapi harusnya kurleb wkwkwk Semoga sedikit sharing ini membantu ya 😁
