Snape Maltings to Iken Chuch

A 5 mile 'there and back' walk from Snape Maltings in Suffolk, to the ancient and historic Iken Church founded by St Botolph in 654 AD.
On the journey we saw three seals basking on the riverbank, and found the walk had changed a lot since we last did it.

Good video, thanks. We also fell foul of the tide (despite checking the tide times before going!) and had to divert onto the road to complete our ramble. Well worth it, though. Note to dog owners : Snape Maltings is NOT dog friendly - not one of the food outlets there will allow you in with a dog, so if the weather is too cold and/or wet to eat outside be prepared to look elsewhere - Aldeburgh is much more dog friendly.

What time did you start you walk Don? We are heading over to do the walk today and high tide looks to be around lunchtime.

You can go back to that cottage and reach the road from there and circle round to Iken I think.
