The fact that you just turned this prop into something usable for an artist just blew my mind. What an awesome gift this would be. My daughter loves clay, she would lose her mind to be able to use something like this. Mine wouldn’t look as good anyway so lol

The Distress Sprayer is made to both spray out a fine mist OR droplets and I LOVE the droplet look so much more. There is a toggle switch on the sprayer by the neck. There is a learning curve to be able to get a droplet to come out but it works if you’re patient and practice. Tim Holtz developed it because he liked to create the droplets by holding his fingers over the sprayer nozzle but the rest of us could never figure out how to do it like he did so he made this bottle. Mushroom Alcohol Ink from Ranger makes a gorgeous aged-look on metal.

Clamps would be easier than safety pins. They make sewing clamps but if you don’t want to buy those you could use safety pins or even office supply clamps. As always you have created an incredible project. I wish I had your graphic design skills.

This is one of my favourite projects that I’ve seen!! I know it’s not Harry Potter, but I would love a tutorial on how to make River Song’s envelope from Doctor Who ep. “The Impossible Astronaut”. I’ve been looking for images of the stamps for years and have yet to find them, only Amy and Rory’s.

@ctempleman14013 жыл бұрын
I bought fax leather off cut at Spotlight in Australia, cheaper than a full piece. It's a sewing, craft etc shop so hopefully stocked in your local sewing shop.

Final comment- I LOVE that your hands are a mess. Mine are always much much worse. Watch Tim Holtz (the maker of Distress) and his are never dirty no matter how much he makes. I don’t get it. My son, when he was younger, thought I was hurting myself because my hands were “all red” when I was done. No son, I just love Distress in the red shades.
