SnapOn Wheel Balancer - Part 1

Liked and Sub'd. Is yours an EEWB314A? This Snapon is nice and compact. Great for track side use. I'm shopping for a used machine like this and had a few questions: What price range could I expect to be in for one in similar age/condition (and risk taking). 5-year update? Would you get the same machine again? I don't think I need power spin since it's only for me and my friends use. I hear you on tire shops turning out crappy work. I had a local shop put new tires on my wife's newer car in preparation for a long trip. As soon as we hit the highway the wheels felt so out of balance that we had cancel the trip and go back. Manager told my wife she had a bent rim and would need a new one. When asked which one he said "all four of them" She told him that he then owed us a set of brand new wheels because it was his shop that touched the car last and it was fine before that moment!! He then went out to the service bay and claimed that the tech hadn't been mounting the wheels correctly. They also told us our brand new battery was bad and tried to sell us a new one!
