No hate here but why such heavy gear. I use 30lb leader and small ball sinkers. I would have thought the gear you’re using is more suited to W.P. As I said no hate, just asking the question. Seems to be working for you.

No problem in asking. Most of my my leaders were 30lb, and one was 50lb. Out at 23m, near shipping channel, the current can be quite strong, so l use the easy rig, so l can easily adjust sinker size, just like WP. I may have been a bit short of lighter sinkers and used a heavier one. Also, where we fish, there is always the chance of a big gummy or other sharks like a 7 giller, so heavier gear.
