7:05 - ok so fun fact, Polygamous was added to the Irish *culture*, and removed from the Insular *faith* a couple patches ago. A couple other Celtic cultures kept Concubines as well. What probably just happened was the Irish culture head got the event to either lose Papal opinion and levels of devotion, or have Irish lose Polygamous, and it looks like the Culture head decided to bow to Monogamy-loving celibate man in Italy.

the AI always go for the players war it seems. i fought of the mongols as i played the ghurid archivement. the mongols declare about 7 wars at onec and on was mine (tall build) empire with 60K men against his 48K. i had so much development and armored horseman, bowman, armored footman camal riders 8 of 8 regiments with 12 of 12 each. and he still went full in with his whole army. he lost and then had to fight his other war with about 10K men xD

a nice challenge would start with the 3 worst inheritable traits and then go to the 3 best inheritable traits so Imbecile/fragile/ugly then go to Genius/Herculean/Beautiful

Alliances are so bad in this game, that don't matter how small you start, as long as you can pump out enough to keep making alliances, you could probably take over most of the map, using alliance armies
