That Moog/Hammond solo, is one of the coolest things I heard in a long time. It is not too complicated, but played with so much soul.... simply terrific, worth more than gold.
@dontomaso119 жыл бұрын
+CoolJazzification I would say it´s actually quite complicated, but to stiff for a "soul" sound. Close but no cigarr. But thanks samuel L jackson, you´re a true inspiration.

Snarky Puppy has a modern Chicago sound with Funk and just mean and nasty on the neck muscles; you can't help but to bob your head back and forth. Look at the audience and the musicians. Its contagious, better have an ice pack behind your neck because its going to get sore listening to their sound. SP is definitely carving a nitch for them selves. Love it

Have only found Snarky Puppy recently after first finding Cory Henry play with the Metropole Orkest in a BBC prom tribute to Quincy Jones . Feel as excited about this music today as I first did when finding Santana in the early 1970s.

I saw Snarky live a few weeks ago, and it was a great time, but there was ONE song in their set that I couldn't identify at the time. I figured at the time it was one off of their new album that I just hadn't memorized yet, but I went and listened to all of Culcha Vulcha and couldn't find it. For some reason I feel like it was a version of this song, Whitecap, but with a big Jay Jennings flugelhorn solo in the middle haha idk, anybody else happen to be at their show in Flint, MI on May 10th?
