Out of all the tracks in Tell Your Friends, I think Slow Demon has the best 'big moment.' The syncopated drums, the electric violin, the meaty electric keyboards; they all culminate in the excellent guitar solo at the end. Glad to listen

@jaysax90 - Hey, Jay. The band is half Dallas guys and half Dallas-turned-Brooklyners. So we're split between the two cities. And the violinist is Zach Brock, a New Yorker. He also plays in Stanley Clarke's quartet with Ronald Bruner, Jr. Truly an inspiring musician.

It's more that people are less interested in hearing good instrumental music and are more interested in electronic stuff. I personally like both and don't understand why they can't exist in harmony but I guess that's the world we live in.

i just discovered this through Facebook and I have already forwarded the link to all my musician friends! I AM FLOORED! Can music like this still be produced in 2010??? It may just reconciliate me with these times... This is musicianship at the highest level but not just for the sake of more notes to the ounce, cos' it comes with one of the most severe grooves I have heard in a long time! And what's great too is that it is filthy rich!!!! How many guys are playing in there? I can't even count!
