Snarl/Water Pulse Shadow Suicune Duo Raid(Full Spec), Clear Weather, 20% Friendship Bonus

Cliff has invaded gyms with Shadow Suicune in May until the end of Season World of Wonders.
Shadow Suicune is a Water-type Pokemon, which is weak against Grass and Electric types moves. As a raid boss, Shadow Suicune has 154 attack and 197 defense. Similar to all other Shadow Raid Bosses, it is generally easier than its non-shadow counterpart if one would subdue it immediately with purified gems.
In the other hand, with its high defense, it is an extremely bulky boss under enraged mode. In fact, there is no Pokemon capable to defeat Shadow Suicune as Duo Raid without weatherboost, seasonal friendship bonus or purified gem usage. Which means, purified gems are generally mandatory for this Duo Raid.
Of course, that also means it is possible to Duo Raid Shadow Suicune without purified gems right now, as long as one have access to Sun/Rain weather locally. In that case, under Primal Groudon's boost, Mega Sceptile, Kartana and Shaymin-Sky can defeat Shadow Suicune as Duo Raid. In rain weather, Zekrom, Xurkitree, Shadow Raikou and Shadow Electivire can also defeat Shadow Suicune as Duo Raid without purified gems with the aid of Primal Kyogre.
In this year's Tapu Fini Duo Raid, we have shown both the theoretical and empirical performance of Solarbeam users (Primal Groudon) under Party Power. While they are extremely powerful in theory, they are still lacking behind from Kartana empirically due to Party Power malfunctioning. At the end, we have concluded they would be better suite for Trio Raid. Under trio raid, Party Power and Solarbeam can pair up naturally, which would help on its consistency.
As such, Kartana is still the main counter for this raid, with the aid of Sunny weather damage boost, Primal Groudon's Primal Boost and seasonal friendship bonus. In the other hand, while it is impractical to battle under the assumption that Party Power will work as intended for the whole raid, we can still expect to have it work just once when needed. So, how could we maximize that Party Power Solarbeam in a no gem Shadow Raid? Obviously, right before Shadow Suicune enrages.
After some trials, we have learnt that Shadow Suicune enrages around 9th Leaf Blade from Kartana. To ensure the consistency on enrage timing, Party Power was deliberately ignored throughout that segment. After Kartana used 8th Leaf Blades, Primal Groudon was sent out with a fully charged Party Power, and it used Party Power Solarbeam to cause Shadow Suicune enraging in much lower HP than it would have been. After that, Kartana continues to fight against Shadow Suicune and applying Party Power immediately when it is ready.
While asynchronously rejoining was believed to be able to mitigate regen glitch, unfortunately, it did not applied to this execution. On each rejoin, Shadow Suicune still regained a little bit of its HP. To avoid further regens, some dodges were applied to avoid second rejoining on each team. At last, Primal Groudon and Kartana were able to defeat Shadow Suicune with 30 seconds left, showing the importance of using a strong charged move before Shadow Raid Boss enrages.

Thank you! It was a pretty fun raid, not that demanding on dodging and with the small trick of using Solarbeam to gain a upper hand on enrage phase.

That was a slick decision swapping in primal groudon pre-enraged to drill it with solar beam dealing all that damage before it's defense rose. Excellent raid as always. 🎉🎉

That's my favorite part of this raid haha. That Solarbeam alone saved like 20-30 seconds.

If we just have budget version of Kartana, that would be better, Kartana is so expensive 😔

Unfortunately no non-legendary would even come close to Kartana in foreseeable future.

I have a Question, is Blacephalon Soloable? Im saying that cuz have the similar stats from Xurkitree

Only in Rain weather with 5x high attack IV (14 or 15) Shadow Kyogre, since attack IV is random it is basically impossible with how much Shadow Kyogre one can get. If we are allowed (which doesn't seems to be the case) to own multiple Necrozma Fusion forms it can also be solo in Fog weather. Xurkitree was possible mainly due to Primal Groudon double resists Electric-type.
