Dan: You and Dylan are the 2 faces of On1 that keeps me coming back. I upgrade every year and this one is no different. The things that get added into the product is always amazing. I know there are many folks behind the scenes who are coming up with these ideas and implementing them. Please pass my thanks on to all of those faceless people who help me daily. I truly appreciate all of you for making my photos look better then I ever could. Have a great day.

Thanks for the kind words! We can't wait to get you the latest version

Danny, you took the words right out of my mind😂. When I started editing photos, this was when On1 had just released version 1. I purchased it & I have never used any other photo editing apps out there. Keep up the great work, guys.

@@MixxwizardI am glad others feel the way I do. On1 deserves our dollars because they really are customer focused. Plus they put out free content to help dummies like me get a little better with the program. Thanks for being on board.

Really nice stuff. What I really like about ON1's AI features - especially like this new Brilliance AI - is that it might make upwards of a dozen different adjustments and you can go in and see each adjustment and play them down, crank them up or turn them off completely to suit your tastes. Well done, ON1!

Exactly! It's going to be great!

You should work on the "Panorama" module. It stitches RAW files very unreliably, so I have to use other software to stitch panoramas

Wow! I'm genuinely impressed. You guys keep me coming back. It looks like a stand alone app as opposed to part of OnOne 2023.5, but I.could certainly be mistaken. Either way, it's a killer. Congrats, guys.

Hello. I have already bought the 2024 version... Impossible to miss. I'm really looking forward to testing all this. Thank you for these videos and congratulations.

Definitely a luminar killer- looks brilliant. Presumably brilliance ai can be used as a batch (I batch photos when saving to a usb stick for digital photo frame)

Dan, I saw a method selection in the module.... could you comment on the role of that and how does brilliance AI work with auto tone and automatch... is it essentally a replacement or are there reasons to use them together??
@tkarlmann Жыл бұрын
For your first photo example, I could still see the 'halo' around the mountains -- meaning, of course, that your masking still needs improvement. Get to work on that, please? Also, when will ON1 support .png files? Reply appreciated.

Looking good Can't wait to try it, But how are the brushes when usibg them at 100% view? On 2023 it wasn't very good on windows.

This tool will be helpful and I look forward to using it on my images. Anything that gets me to stylizing faster is a win in my book.
@StuEddins Жыл бұрын
This looks like a great starting point for someone interested in moving quickly from correction to styling. Let's say that I have a series of shots taken at an event and I need to edit 15 or 20 of them. If I apply Brilliance AI to one of them and adjust the Brilliance settings, will my adjustments sync across files along with any other adjustments I make? Or, will Brilliance individually assess each file its applied to during sync potentially returning slightly different results?
@ON1Photo Жыл бұрын
It can be either. You can apply Brilliance to one photo and copy and paste the exact settings to a group of similar photos if you want identical results. Or you can have Brilliance evaluate each photo individually and what what it thinks is right. Both options have manual “bias” over-rides so you can tweak the results while still being automatic

Brilliance AI seems to depend on the same underlying machine learning as Mask AI, but has the selectivity of this engine in identifying regions been improved? From its introduction in the 2023 update, I found AI masking hit and miss - worked great for some photos, but failed in its identification of component regions for others. Things seemed to go backwards with the recent minor update. Now I often get just foreground and background identified, not the component regions.

I like the direction that on1 is taking with these type of tools but disagree with things such as “sky replacement” because ultimately that is replacing the photograph itself!

This from a guy who drives a standard shift car. The question is, how much creative decision do I want to concede to a machine? I get that brilliance will take some of the heavy lifting out of the process, but to what end and to whose idea of a ‘perfect” picture? My ideal 24 editor would have all the existing ON1 23 features, but with a new, improved, easier to negotiate interface. Just some questions.
@ON1Photo Жыл бұрын
Brilliance will analyze the photo and make recommendations base on the thousands of photos it's been trained on. You can still do all of the manual adjustments in Develop that you could do before as well.

I have on1 phot raw 2024, but I don't have an AI match and AI auto button under tone. Is there a way to add it? or am I stuck with brilliance?
@drazencavar1012 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, but doesn't look good even on KZbin compression: squashed details, unnatural, almost eerie tonality, odd colors. Besides that, this way most of fun is removed from editing. If it's intended for beginners, it would better be separate software.
