There were loads of awesome games in the tiny teams festival, but it really felt like Peglin was the real breakout star. Showing games like this to lots of people is a big help to the devs but also a boon to the gaming community. I wouldn't be surprised if the devs renamed it bramball after seeing one of Tom's vids. Damage for bombs honestly makes a lot of sense as a trade off though, and frankly still might be worth it, as it's likely that you'll still take less damage from your own bombs than you would if you tried to fight each enemy invididually. Hence whyit makes sense as a trade off otherwise it'd probably just be an easy way to get through without taking any damage at all.

In perfect hindsight, if he hadn't taken the bigger bombs upgrade, then he could have taken the magnet upgrade later, which is one of the strongest upgrades in the game it seems like. But he couldn't have known ahead of time that he'd get that chance.

That seemed like such a strong run, I thought you might be able to beat the last boss (whatever it is). But the wierd upside down map really messed you up. The two new areas look really fun.

ooph, that last map seems like it might need some balancing. A reverse gravity map where you start at the bottom is a good idea, but having them also able to escape out the top feels really difficult to hit multiple pegs. Plus, the map felt like 75% the size of other maps because so much map space was devoted to the gravity wells.

I don't think it was just reverse gravity. It seemed it was like, gravity was split down the middle or somewhere near it. Sometime gravity took them upwards, sometimes downwards. So it's really difficult to hit a lot of pegs because normally you hit pegs as you go down. But with that map there's so little space to go down that you hit like, three pegs as you fall and that's it you're done falling the map's over.

If you hit all 5 bombs on one of the chest boards, you get a second chest with a second relic. I saw it happen exactly once.

That upside-down monster seems too OP right now. Either your pegs gets eaten on the top, or they are wasted on the bottom. Hope those wormholes get reworked...

Glad you got early access, I actually played the Demo yesterday again for a last time before ea thing and I noticed the changes. Now I honestly don't think Daggorb is nearly as bad, still risky but with 2 crits on the map [except cruciball mode] I think it's far less of a gamble than before. Tom: I wanna get rid of these rocks. Also Tom: *Ignores options to get rid of rocks*

This game is so damn good. I had a Level 3 Nosferatorb early on combined with the relic that turns self-damage into x2 damage to all enemies. Super powerful.

So glad that blocks count as pegs now, at least for the purposes of turning them into bombs. Having them not be pegs really just arbitrarily nerfed that orb on certain maps. Granted now its just randomly buffed on certain maps, but that's more fun isnt it

Was the mega bomb that deals 150 to enemies and 5 to self, stacking with the thing that causes damage to self to deal double to enemies causing it to deal 300 as a weird interaction? The +20 to bomb damage later then acted as a +40 so there's definitely something there I think

The sapper sack was the item that turned the bombs red. It had two effects 1. Bombs deal 150 base damage and 5 self damage. 2. All bomb damage to enemies is doubled.

I see a lot of people calling the one at the end an "upside down map" I don't believe it is. I think it is just like the monster which is the middle of the map is a line of symmetry. If the ball goes above the middle line it goes upward. If its below the middle line it goes down. Just like how the monster has a head in the middle and then 2 sets of legs 1 at the top and 1 at the bottom. The key to that from what I see is hitting the middle and then it causes your multiballs to split into 1 going to hit orbs at top and 1 to hit them at the bottom. That's what I got atleast.
