Really nice TRU Mirfield station upgrade ! Thank you for your on the spot coverage and reportage (in the cold and wet). Amazing retrofit/expansion/upgrade to the nice bridge as well.

Mirfield was a good place for spotting in steam days and shed was easy to get round

Spotting-wise, I guess it has the benefit of being located slap bang between Heaton Lodge, where the Calder Valley trains join the line, and Ravensthorpe, where anything from Healey Mills/Wakefield direction joins the line, so you don't miss much if you're at Mirfield!

Many thanks for the positive feedback. As someone who doesn't have any inside knowledge, I tend to put everything I know into the videos, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to elaborate much during a Q&A session. Most of what I know comes from observing the work compounds when I drive past, or reading scraps of info on online forums. That said, if you've got any specific questions about particular parts of the TRU, I'm happy to go and take a look, or can try to find out the answers. I sense that the next big thing will be further work on Huddersfield Viaduct in the New Year.

Have you seen the concrete beams for the viaduct are already in Huddersfield? Take a walk to the old demolished tech site and see them there
