Can we please award Cap Jason an award for Cool under Pressure? This guy is unreal. Cap Lee would have chopped A couple of heads at end of this incident. I love the Stud OG, but Jason is admirable Imo. Adam is lucky to still have his fingers attached, but I like him still.

Culver just crashed the tender into the rails causing a decent amount of damage. I mean come on. And, Culver has experience, unlike Adam. This alone should tell Cap that Culver can't or doesn't want to learn. That 1-day bosun appointment was an epic fail.

I can see where Adam is coming from that on commercial ships it is done differently. In fact there have been other commercial sailors who have come on Below Deck who also had difficulties.

OK, but they’re over halfway through the season at this point. Like captain Jason said, this is a huge mistake (one of many including scrapping a pylon). If they yank the anchor off the boat, it would’ve completely ended their season right in the middle of a charter or the chain could break and whip around and hit anyone, instantly killing them. If he has that much trouble switching over to a yacht, he doesn’t belong there anymore. How long are you willing to risk the crew’s safety so that Adam can “adjust” ???

Looks like Joao is willing to with him still or he would have recommended to the Captain to get him off the deck and it doesn't look like the Captain wants him off either. Of course it didn't show if the Captain calling to see if they can get a replacement. We do know who will be wearing the mirrored helmet next however.

No, we should just keep Adam around until he really hurt someone or sinks the boat. We’re halfway through the season but let’s just let him keep learning and adjust to Adam’s speed and experience. If something happened, it’s not like Insurance would push back and say this kid had multiple incidents where he damaged or potentially damaged the boat, and you kept him on as a deckhand, right? 😂😂

I feel really bad for Adam because I could tell he genuinely wanted to be there and was a very hardworking deckhand. Did he F up with the anchor and the docking? Yes but he's human. Plus he was dealing with some family issues at the time. I personally don't think he deserved to be fired over it.

Not only is Culver a bad deckhand, but he's doing the same thing to the ladies as he did last time. He shows affection and caring to a stew, and then he sees someone else that catches his eye and hurts the first person. @GG-qy2wy Frequently, many of them do - it's a pretty common thing on all of the BD series. Several crew members have been reprimanded, or fired, for their drunken behavior. Luckily, none of them tried anything nearly as heinous as what Luke pulled, although Ashton's behavior in Thailand was pretty deplorable.

I find Margots drinking really over the top and this girl uses any problem that arises as an excuse to drink. The way she drank that Pina Colada and on the job was out an out of control drinking. You cannot use incidents or stress as an excuse. You have to job to do and when you cannot do it for drinking then finding a cop out is rehab time pronto.

I love that most of you have never been on a yacht before, yet you feel like you know better. When raising that tender in rocking seas, what all of you land lubbers don't know is that there is a lag time in the remote lift. Culver cannot be blamed for the tender hitting the handrail. Unless he can control rolling seas... As a yacht owner, I blame Cpt. Jason, that tender should have been towed until the seas were calm enough for the lift. Culver is this crews best asset. Saying he is "useless" just shows that most of you don't know what you are talking about. This is a man who is anywhere and everywhere he is needed to be, pitching in and going above and beyond to help the crew and the guests. Saying you want him fired is assinine. Yes, he shouldn't be playing both Jaimie and Tsarina that's wrong, but as a deck hand and crew member he is fantastic. I would bring him onboard any day. The rest of you sitting on your couch need to STFU.

Yea lost any respect for Jason. We know that the dropped anchor was a near miss but these things happen and Adam was not to blame for any of the other mistakes. He knew what he did wrong and he could have learned from it and moved on. Absolute crap management from Jason who also crashed a ship himself.
