I stopped being a Kyle supporter when he hung out with Frank & those charter guests last season like he wasn't a crew member. Seems most anyone else would have gotten fired or severely reprimanded for fratinizing with guests (Hannah Ferrier comes to mind!) but there's Kyle lounging with the guests like he owns the place and nothing at all happens. Even KISSING a guest?? (though I think that was AFTER the guests were off the boat at least, just like this season with Lara so I guess no one cares?) At the time with Kyle socializing on charter I was like "Well, I guess the LBGTQIA+ community deserves a bit of a break with all the never ending and intense crap they have to go through so everyone wants to support him, OK" but he's such a drama queen brat too often I just can't with him anymore. He still has to be a decent human being and professional, which he doesn't seem to be acting like anymore. It's a damn shame.

Kyle is drama! A bully and attention seeker! All because he's an insecure child! Tumi is the worst chief stew I've ever seen. She likes to cause trouble and pretend her hands are clean. She should not be sharing certain information with other stews. Nothing is in confidence with her. She thinks she better than everyone else. But really she has absolutely no idea what it takes or how to be professional. She thrives on the drama. Nobody can come to her with issues or to get support, because she goes and nic pics about it to the next stew. She's highly unprofessional and very belittling. Natalia is the best worker on there by far and demoted to washing clothes! And she was a good chief stew and the fact Tumi didn't make her 2nd stew was just to embarrass her and show natalia she is below her. How they all acted at dinner was disgusting! Tumi was loving it and didn't even care. She is NOT. A boss! Captain Sandy saw straight through what happened. (I love her!) Can't wait to see Kyle get his punishment.. Tumi and Kyle are always talking about private things another stew has mentioned behind there backs. It's the most unprofessional season I've ever seen! And I've watched every episode of all the below decks. I cannot wait for the reunion when captain sandy watches it all! BRING BACK HANNAH! HA 🤣

Nat is gorgeous and fun and also yes egging on drama. She could be fantastic as a chief stew though with the abilities as a stew at all levels weve seen. Itd bring the mature part of her to the forefront and she could be really likeable again. Maybe its all intentional drama who knows,for the show. The open relationship is awful and cringey tho. I usually agree that kyle is in the centre of the drama - but in this specific case I'm on his side, cishet people don't get to glaum on to our community and decide they're a part of our community. @@bmw263 five me a break. I have been the CEO of many large business and i would never put a person like Tumi in a management leadership role. The challenge is always about how to support and ensure the employees reporting to you have the skills and training required to do the best job possible. There are a lot of different and difficult personalities every management level have to deal with. Tumi clearly does not have those skills at this point in her career and should never have been put in this position.

The Captain is absent for the most part. It's a **** show!!! Has Tumi made mistakes? HELL YEAH!!! But this boating culture is not conductive to allowing a person the full opportunity to do their job. First they're all strangers, a HUGE hurdle. This promotes cliquish behavior, which is difficult to overcome. They sleep together, drink and party together, etc. The authoritative lines are blurred, and you know trouble will ensue if that continues. You are a CEO, fine. I'll wager you NEVER allowed someone to talk back, or disrespect you in any way, shape or form. When I became an NCO in the Marines, I wasn't perfect, but the ENVIRONMENT allowed me to learn and correct my missteps. Hell, I was honor grad from my NCO school, and I quickly realized, you don't know until you know. In the older Corps, sometimes they'd transfer you to another unit, because it's harder to lead people that know you. Evade the accusations of favoritisms, etc, etc. My lens is always from a military point of view. A CLEAR chain of command. Not these Lord of the Flies, high school mean girls antics, put forward as normal or acceptable behavior. It's not!! Which is why I hesitate to say that Tumi is the worst Chief Stew I've ever seen. I've seen people behave like Nat, and if they're not handled decisively and immediately, the units cohesion, morale, and effectiveness will suffer. I just wanna see how Tumi does her job now that Nat is gone. Will she rise to the occasion, or continue to falter? We will see. Btw, Nat exhibited the same behavior on a different boat, so this isn't something new. Maybe it's a character flaw. SEMPER FI!!!

Kyle is just pathetic in this season & should have been fired. He is insecure, weak, selfish, dishonest (yes, dishonest.....all those fake tears, the dizzy spell, & on the earlier season, the fall crying about his ankle....all for sympathy) & he is cowardly (plus a few more things ill just leave out)..all the ingredients for an instigator. And, then, there was the chef, Luka & Laura, her supposed friends on the boat, who simply looked on & said nothing while she was being verblally attacked & just plain ignored & pushed out of the group. Luka even said he "kinda" wanted to stick up for her but, he was "afraid" they'd start biting his head off. Coward. Way to be a man, Luka. The chef similarly said he kinda stood up for Natalya. Wtf does that mean? Coward. Either you stand up for someone or you don't. There's no "kind of". I dont recall Laura even trying to stand up for her friend, Natalya. Thank God a train wasn't headed straight for Natalya when only one so called friend "kind of" spoke up & the others said nothing. But, Tumi is the one i must give much credit & respect to. Natalya wasnt completely innocent either throughout this season 8, i realize, especially where Tumi was concermed but, Tumi stayed professional & despite her personal feelings toward Natalya (& vice versa), Tumi made a point to check on Natalya every time & she was fair & honest about the situation acknowledging thst Kyle WAS the common denominator & instigator. I hope to see more of Tumi. She was great. But, no more Kyle. His bad energy will cause more bad things for the show & people working therein.(im psychic....really) But , I do wish everyone the best...every single one ...even Kyle...& that he gets some serious help, support & lots of love so, maybe he'll grow into a wonderful person.
